I have a discernible love for wanton mee with an added portion of chicken cutlet. The love was derived from my frequent visits to the wanton mee stall at my secondary school.
Unfortunately, I can't enter my school whenever I want, less I raise suspicion of being a creep. So to satisfy my inner-child cravings, I come to Tasty Treats in Far East Plaza.
This dish (S$6) isn't the best or that fantastic but it gives me the feels. The noodles were a bit congealed together but after a thorough mix with the gravy, all was A-OK. The chicken cutlet was crispy and tender while the char siew was juicy. Overall, it's a good eat in Orchard due to the generous portion and affordable price.
Wanted something 'light' so I decided to try this plate of Wanton Mee from Tasty Treats (#05-96/97) of Far East Plaza. The noodles were overcooked but I guess this place's saving grace is the generous amount of char siew. Priced at $4/plate but I guess with the other cheap & good food places within Far East, I won't have it again.
