Pretty good! Imagine eating cupcakes from Twelve Cupcakes a layer at a time without making a mess. I wish for there to be more cake compared to icing though.
Here is a similar one but in cake form! Thought it was a very creative idea by the people behind Twelve Cupcakes. Let's see if they taste as good as they look!
A flavour that sounds pretty safe and would not go wrong for a Whoopie Pie. The cream seems to be made of cream cheese, which invokes a slightly sourish flavour to the sweetness of the bananas, while the salted caramel was just nicely salted without having a strong burnt flavour coming along with it. The shells had a consistency in its texture similar to Kueh Bahulu.
Cream was sweet and caramel didn't seem to have enough salt in it. Banana was well coated with the caramel sauce. On it's own, whoopie base was dry. Overall this was a little sweet for my liking. It might be awhile until I give this another try
2 of my favourites together in a moist cake yay! Had wanted to get earl grey but they didn't have it. No regrets though.
Dulce & Sucre is a cafe started by the people behind Twelve Cupcakes. It has a good variety of loaf cakes and Whoopie pies, and of course cupcakes! This carrot cake is a lighter, and more spongey version. The cream cheese frosting is generous, smooth and not too sweet. The cake has a good amount of walnuts and carrots, and the right amount of spice. Not the best I've had but worth a try!
