[CLOSED] Doodles

Served in a bag, Doodles have a range of cold ingredients for selection. It's a fuss-free ordering process unless you have problems with decision-making, like Jae. In Jae's bag, there are soba noodles, salmon, kimchi and cucumber. Kae had angel hair pasta, razor clams, squid, kimchi and enoki mushrooms. The kimchi was the clear winner as it brought a blast of spiciness to our taste buds. Each bag also came with sauces. 8/10

Quite an interesting yet convenient way of eating. Had soba, kimchi, seasoned seaweed, sesame and tangy onion dressing in my bag of doodles!

Look at the super cute packaging! I love this concept, & everything mixed together is so tasty. I had the omnomnomnivore-- soba, enoki mushrooms + edamame (2 veggies), pacific clams + shrimp (2 meat), mixed in with creamy sesame sauce. & of course, yes to all thex complimentary toppings-- garlic, spring onions, roasted sesame seeds.

Apparently, this is similar to 百味 in Hong Kong. I shall aim try that when I go there, too!

I had walked past this tiny corner store at Basement 1 of the newly revamped Tiong Bahru Plaza several times but never took much notice of it. Finally gave Doodles a try tonight thanks to my stood Lobang gift vouchers, and wow.. I liked it! For S$6, choose a cold noodle base > select 2 vegetables > add 2 meats > then complete with a sauce. Had mine with Soba + Edamame + Sweet Corn + Smoked Duck + Abalone Clam + Spicy Sauce. Zip it, Shake it, Eat it!! Yummy!! 😍😍😍 Adore the compact zipped package too!

Thanks to @Vanessa_Kou, we got to try the Hong Kong 百味 (Bai Wei) lookalike - Doodles! Personally, 百味 still wins hands down in terms of price and taste (sorry I'm biased but their unlimited chopped garlic and special sauce just goes too well together 👅💦), but I'm glad there's now a place to go to, to curb those cravings! Pick your preferred ingredients and sauce from a range, zip it, shake it, eat it! Great for days when you need a healthy snack or when you are on the go. The available ingredients are of a great variety, with noodle options like angel hair pasta and sauces like sesame and truffle XO. Can I also just say that their packaging is A*? The dino's too cute!
