Love the roasted baby potatoes, shrimp bonito and roasted almond flakes on my salad! And their yuzu sesame is a great dressing for salads. Teriyaki chicken however tastes more like black pepper chicken and there were only 2 small pieces.

Total damage: $9.90

Having this bowl of wholesome poké bowl salad at 8.30pm was indeed satisfying! I like that they offer whole almonds as toppings and are generous with it. You also get 1 complimentary superfood to go with your bowl. In pic: Standard Nalu ($15.90) comes with 2 scoops 150g of poké, salad, edamame, almonds and avocado. They added some pineapples on the top for the haiwaiian zest. Oh, and help yourselves to the assorted fruits infused water at no additional cost!

Long queues are always seen in front of the stall during meal timings, probably because they only make upon orders. They are not stingy with the ingredients, however, the gimbaps are not rolled tight enough - the ingredients came falling out bit by bit. Each roll is cut into six pieces and here I am with my Smoked Salmon ($6) and Avocado ($5)!

Seoul Roll is currently on the Entertainer App and it means 1-for-1 rolls!

2nd visit and the portion never disappoints! Medium bowl ($14.90 nett) comes with 1 Base + salad, 2 proteins and 4 toppings. Choose a premium topping like avocado, onsen egg or seasoned jellyfish @ $1.50.

My second time eating this at Ride for Rainbows events. WHEAT has been sponsoring this event at least for the past 2 years that I've participated in. Even though it's a sponsored food item, they are generous with their portion of soba and chicken. Just eating this box was sufficient to fill out stomachs after a tiring ride.

Noodles, Cordyceps Flower, Shijmeiji Mushroom, Shiitake Mushroom, Soya Mutton, Tau Pok, Lettuce and Carrot served in Huai Shan broth.

The herbal broth is light and nice!

The sesame oil used in the dressing was so fragrant that you smell it the moment you remove the cover. The shoyu tasted really light and it allows you to enjoy the original taste of the fish as much as possible. If you'd like something creamier, go for the wasabi mayo, roasted sesame or sweet yuzu cream! Or if you'd like a bigger serving of fish, choose the "Starving" bowl at $14. I got my "Hungry" bowl of brown rice base at $10. One of the cheapest Poke bowls in town!

How to order: 1) Choose your Poke bowl from the menu, 2) Select your meat(s) where applicable, 3) Select your base.

For $4.80, you get a healthy, affordable and filling meal. There are other options for oat rice too, and each comes with one choice of topping (any one of the many available ones). Whenever I want something healthy and cheap, QQ rice is definitely one of my options!

Located just in front of Starbucks, the newly opened Poke Doke has a minimalist layout. My first poke bowl and it was a pleasant experience! A medium bowl (comes with 1 base, 2 proteins and 4 toppings) is just right for a satisfying meal. I added a premium topping ($1.50) for the avocado. With the opening promotion, I only paid $12.30 (U.P $16.40) for this bowlful of wonders! Go for the wasabi tuna, it gives you a little kick.

As it is their opening week, Poke Doke is having a very value-for-money promotion! First 50 bowls each day are entitled to 25% discount and thereafter 15% off all day! Promotion is only until 12 Feb. If you are unsure of the different flavours, the friendly owners would offer to let you sample the various proteins available.

Because I seek crunchiness in my lunch. The basil taste is not as strong as that of Joo Chiat's though. But still... 👍

We are what we eat. Ft. Mr Pirom, one of the signature bowls: Tuna and Wild Mushrooms with Apple Kimchi and Crudités Slaw on Soba Noodles.

Quite an interesting yet convenient way of eating. Had soba, kimchi, seasoned seaweed, sesame and tangy onion dressing in my bag of doodles!
