The sashimi was fresh, soft and chewy, and the bowl was a hearty portion. My main let-down was the poor service of the staff who had bad attitude, mostly ignored us and even asked us to pass her rubbish of previous customers. Hopefully, we just got unlucky with the service as beyond that, the restaurant had a comfy ambience that makes it a good place to hang out with friends

Kushi Mori, a mixed skewer platter of 10 sticks for sharing with friends. Includes mushroom, chicken yakitori, smoked duck cubes, beef cubes, quail eggs, bacon with oysters and bacon with cherry tomatoes at only $19.80.
Next must try is their delectable spicy salmon maki at $12.80 for 8 pcs. Crispy ebi wrapped with sushi rice and topped with spicy mentaiko sauce salmon sashimi.
Each pax paid about $25.
this supa value for money japanese outfit with good service prolly needs no introduction. bara chirashi ($13.80 only) was hearty and teeming with generous fresh cuts of fish (can be fresher, but i am not complaining). spicy salmon maki ($12.80) is clearly a winner here at barashi - think soft aburi salmon paired with thinly crisp battered ebi tempura, really quite a tease with that morsel of rice! hearsay version 2 is coming real soon btw. my bowl of wagyu rice did not disappoint either. p.s you will never be too late to drop by here. serving you till bloody 4am yo

At $13.80 for Bara Chirashi or $23 for Chirashi, all the freshness 🐟 in a bowl be it salmon, tuna or yellow tail definitely gives sashimi lovers a run for their money.

Also not forgetting the Kurama Ebi [$7.80] which turned out to be a crowd pleaser with its garlicky sauce on seared prawns.
