🥰🧇Karaage Chicken Waffle - waffle served with karaage chicken and special sauce, my favourite among all, the chicken was said to be marinated with mirin, sake, turmeric and some other ingredients to create this inevitable taste that tantalise my tastebud with their healthy waffles that evening... totally in love with with this!!! ❤️

This Is What I Came For Matcha MontBlanc ($18.00). oh yes, I did struggle to order between Matcha Tiramisu, Matcha MontBlanc and Matcha Azuki Pancake. But most of people order Matcha MontBlanc instead of Matcha Tiramisu and Matcha Azuki Pancake. I decided to try this first as I found that it was quite popular in the menu and saw people at another table to order too. I find the pricing for pancake menu was really expensive than the main menu, you need really need to be considered for ordering another pancake again if anyone here is going alone there in terms of pricing. It's best to ask your friends coming along to share cost if anyone want to eat or having some cravings. The taste for pancake was really so good that I didn't noticed whipping cream hidden Matcha MontBlanc :") and I didn't like whipping cream tbh. I just literally removed it off most of time.
Ordered this as part of the BB high tea set (1 sweet dessert + 1 drink, one for one!). It came as a stack of 3 pancakes topped with matcha mousse and served with whipped cream and a scoop of vanilla ice cream (hiding behind!!) Although it appears super aesthetic, somehow the matcha mousse was lacking in any real matcha flavour. I much preferred having the pancakes with the ice cream and matcha sauce on the side.
Interesting taste and texture to the pancake (learnt it was made with 7 different types of grains). The matcha mousse was a tad too much for us and we ended up leaving 1/4 of it untouched. Otherwise, very filling dessert and also not too sweet, which make it less sinful to devour.
Would recommend to try it at least one!
the matcha cream was not too sweet although it’s probably too much to finish one on your own! The icecream paired nicely with the meal. Would recommend sharing dishes :)
My first impression of this cafe was really nice. One of the server came to ask if it was our first time coming to their cafe. He was very nice and showed us the recommended menu.
The matcha cream was nice, and for the pancake you can really taste the multigrain texture. Will definitely come back to try other menu. It was really worth it with Burpple Beyond.

This was really good! Unlike normal pancakes, I believe that they make their batter using 7 different types of grains — which really shone through in their taste and texture! The matcha cream didn’t taste cloyingly sweet, but was light and flavourful (a definite plus!). Will definitely be back, given my soft spot for pancakes and the rarity of good pancakes in Singapore!
Kyushu Pancake Café has been on our makan list ever since we saw them on Burpple Beyond, and we managed to redeem the 1-for-1 Matcha Montblanc Pancake deal here before its expiry.
