This is the perfect order for a mid-afternoon tea break. This place seems popular for tourists.

Combo comes with big prawns and squid and pork slices

It's thick enough but the umami wasn't strong. Big prawns were fine, nothing noteworthy but recently executed

They're very slow for some reason, the bee hoon takes time but idk why they serve all the dishes tgt restaurant style, it's really inefficient cos all their staff get clogged up at the narrow passageway and there's a huge delay in serving the rest of the customers, while at other times theyre all standing around doing absolutely nothing. Very annoying

Their broth is a thin kind but there's pretty good flavour, from deep sea prawns. But it's rather mild, and clean, not for those who enjoy the super thick pork based one.

The pork patty was soft and the flavour was interesting. Pork ribs were avg. Prawns and lala were super fresh

Overall a pretty good bowl, worth the price for sure

This plate of prawn noodles came with a beautiful wok-hei aroma along with rich and robust prawn broth filled with umami goodness. The vermicelli has absorbed the rich flavour of stock really well along with accompanying ingredients such as pork slices, pork lard, kang kong and shallots. The price seems to be on the high side but this is worth the once-in-a-while treat for some good prawn noodles in town.

I also ordered the beancurd skin prawn roll to share. It came with a good amount of prawn paste underneath the thin and crispy skin along with mayonnaise for dipping. I like how this didn’t turn out too greasy.

Absolutely not worth it. Wanted to be a best-of-both-worlds fusion of prawn mee and white beehoon, but this ultimately fell flat. The broth, which is arguably the lynchpin to a good plate of white beehoon, tasted so bland with only a hint of 'prawniness'. Though there was a sizeable portion of pork ribs and 1 big prawn, there was so little beehoon that I actually had to double check that the menu indicated it was one person's portion - felt more like it was for half a person instead. Having grown up eating the original Sembawang White Beehoon, I think it's almost blasphemy for them to call this a White Beehoon. And at this price point even? Ptooi!

The regular refers to the size, but I would say that it also applied to the quality of this prawn mee. Broth was very light in flavour and not 'gao' enough. Decent amount of ingredients with fish cake, pork slices, and prawn paste ball. Just 2 small prawns though, eh. Would take Beach Road prawn mee over this, any day. But their soy sauce was really good, try it.
