Ordered takeaway for 1 pax but i was charge by a lady for $1 when requesting for more sambal belacan. This is ridiculous, pls be aware!!!!

3 dishes @ $8.90

This is my go-to nasi padang food and it never disappoints. Seems to be getting a tad more expensive each visit.

1 veg + 1 chicken + beef rendang @ $10.30

If I could marry food, I would marry to this. Coba coba never disappoints though a bit shocked at the price this time. Nevertheless the satisfaction at the end of the meal makes it worthwhile.

Trying this chicken for the first time, super tender and the sauce is sweet, a little spicy and with the lime a little sour but all super well balanced.

The beef rendang and sambal kangkong are as good as always.

Wasn't too hot, but is delicious.

Their paru is really something. Beef lung was meaty w a mild chew, it looks like preserved meat cos of how dried it is. Full of umami

And the amaranth, not sure what sauce it's cooked in but there's it's similar to fermented soybean that has a punchy umami, what a pleasant surprise.

Second time trying and maybe it's just luck but the stuff here is delightful, not overwhelming, not too spicy and very flavourful. If you're choosing randomly it can be pretty spicy though

Apparently I can't detect the heat from their green chili properly because she found it pretty hot

Chili hijau chicken was pretty good, the green chili had a mild vegetal flavour.

Satay cuttlefish? had a lot of peanuts and the cuttlefish was unbelievably tender, there's barely any chew.

French beans were perfect too.

I particularly like their green chili sauce because of the anchovies, it's a very soft and savoury sauce (again with possibly a lot of heat)

My cravings for nasi padang were greatly satisfied at Coba Coba! Each dish you see on this plate was superb on their own - from the flavourful beef rendang, to the lemak sambal goreng, to the soft & savoury bergedil and the spicy & shiok sambal belacan. They all worked so well with rice! Will definitely be back again!
