This was mildly spicy! Good enough for those who really cannot take spicy food. If you can, go for level 3 and above, it's fine. I was trying to add this to the Somerset outlet but this app keeps tripping so I just added to the star vista one. At $12.90, this doesn't come with the egg. You will have to add it on separately at $1.80.
Grilled tiger prawns with creamy slightly charred golden orangey mentaiko sauce that tasted so good on the palette! I prefer this more than their ramen! :x
I bought the regular size which costs $11.90 exclusing GST and service charge!! It was just right for me tho! The smaller one costs $8.30. Gyoza was only soso it was pretty dry and didnt have enough meat in it. Service was pretty okayy as they didnt really keep a look out for any raising of hands but they were friendly!
My usual ramen fix. :) they have light soup base, but slightly salty. The gyoza is damn cheap! $6 for 8 pieces, one of the popular order in the stall!
Calling out to Chilli Lovers! Chabuton is having the spicy ramen challenge! All you have to do is to finish a bowl of level 5 spicy ramen and stand a chance to win an iPhone 6! Are you up for the challenge? Check out Chabuton for more details! π
Over the past few years, the ramen craze has grown rapidly. From that few reputable restaurants serving good bowls of ramen went into different types of broth like Tonkotsu, Shoyu and even a choice to pick for Kazan style.
Many Michelin Stars from Japan started coming in and branch out their business in Singapore, and now we are spoilt for choices.
Chabuton serves a very decent bowl of ramen, in terms of quality definitely it doesn't beat those big boys out there but one thing I like about them is their broth isn't that salty as compare to others that seems to be too overwhelming.
So here's Chabuton Tonkotsu Ramen, do remember to pair along with their gyoza!
I previously couldn't appreciate ramen but I'll be back for this.
