Dinner at @cajunonwheels_sg at @pasarbella Suntec City. Ordered the non spicy version so that the little kid can join in. Next time we shall go without the kid and order a spicy version!

really surprised with this lunch deal at Cajun on Wheels! lunch sets start from $9+. it was by pure luck that we got the pilaf rice and it was gooood, really flavourful. the fish was pretty soft as well. would say that it's value for money :)

Features 250g of fresh meaty blue mussels, 250g of fresh meaty white clams, sweet corn on the cob, starchy boiled baby potatoes, and savoury salty chicken spam fingers.
.
The mussels and clams have good briny salty sweet flavour, with a slight bouncy bite to texture. Coated in a luxurious herb butter gray.
.
Yum. Among the more value for money options on the menu here.

Halal-certified seafood buckets.
.
This features crayfish, corn on the cob, and baby potatoes, boiled then coated in old bay seasoning and thyme. Finished with a spicy sweet sauce.
.
The crayfish has fresh, sweet savoury meat, with a good bite to texture, but the portions are tiny. The sauce has a quick burn on the palate, but fades just as fast.
.
Generally pricey, and not that filling.

Fish & Torpedo Prawns ($12.50), comes with prawn mayo & salsa dip
- 1 sides complimentary
- chose Spam Fries (premium) as my side (+$2.00)

> Dish itself comes with 3 well battered fried prawns (tempura style but not using tempura batter though), 3 fried fishballs, 3 baby potatoes. Served on wax paper layered into a mess tin.
> Spam fries portion enough to be shared with another. Not greasy. If u r on a budget, order different sides and share.
> Dips were exceptionally good. Salsa was tangy, sweet with a hint of spiciness. Be sure to remove the Chilli Padi and garlic cloves if u don't like surprises.
> Prawn mayo tasted like full flavoured heibe hiam (spicy shrimp). Found myself dipping everything in that mayo dip and having the salsa by itself (it's good enough to be eaten by itself).

The bad:
> Everything's fried, might be jelak after a while.

Mix Seafood ($11:50) + Cajun Cheese sauce
- 1 sides complimentary
- chose normal fries as my side

> Dish itself come with 3 well battered fried shrimps, 3 mussels, 3 fried fishballs, 3 baby potatoes. Served on wax paper layered into a mess tin.
> Fries portion enough to be shared with another. Not greasy. If u r on a budget, order different sides and share.
> Cajun cheese sauce was exceptionally good. Light cheese taste with slight curry flavour and mild spiciness. Be sure to remove the Chilli Padi if u don't like surprises.
> Because the shrimp's cooked whole, u have to peel it and expect the intestines/insides to still be there.
> Mussels were not sandy

The bad:
> Accidentally ate a small clump of salt which was not stirred into the sauce properly. If u can forgive this minor setback, the dish's nearly perfect.

Total: $26.00 nett

Overall experience:
> Good
> Wouldn't mind coming back to try the other dishes in the menu.

# Point to note that the price of their other sets can go up to as much as $160++
