Boon Tong Kee Chicken Rice 文东记鸡饭 (Ang Mo Kio)

Chicken was slightly off being more reddish than usual. Not sure what magic is in the soya sauce but it’s really addictive when you have it together with the chicken and rice.

Pillow soft white silky tofu coated with this golden crispy batter. Super addictive you can’t stop at one. Comes with 8 pcs, so that $1 per pop.

This tofu is so soft that it literally melts into your mouth and it has a soya beans fragrance.

The thin crispy skin has a slight saltish seasoning. Dipping it to the sweet mayo sauce, the whole tofu is so SHIOK when you put it in your mouth!

It's a wonder how the chef managed to perfect his frying skill to fry such soft tofu and maintain the small square shape!

Almost all the tables ordered this side dish, you definitely have to try!

$5 for a plate of super yummy chicken. Really liked the sauce and how the chicken is cold when served.
