I tried the Lava Toast from Meet and Melt quite some time ago and I remembering it to be a delicious dessert, but having passed by so many times Bojio cafe which happens to be by the same people behind Meet and Melt, I haven't tried it out until now. It was a tough choice to make even for deciding between Shibuya and Lava Toast because all their flavours looked too good.

Eventually we decided on something flowy and chose the Earl Grey Lava toast. I am not too sure if it comes with the charcoal toast by default but it was served to us without me choosing the charcoal version, but I am not complaining because it smells equally nice, and retaining a crispy exterior. The Earl Grey Lava oozed out immediately after the first cut, leaving the interior too hollow. Soon you find the plate full of the lava but an empty toast. The lava, although had a light floral Earl grey flavour thus not being too sweet, was instead a little too watery. But of course, the plate was wiped clean with the toast.

They also had a selection of ice cream flavours such as matcha and bubblegum. Sea salt gula Melaka being a premium flavour was charged at an additional dollar. But I liked how the slight saltiness tingled my tastebuds amidst all the sweetness. The ice cream melted quite quickly though. The entire dessert had a nice presentation, with fruit loops, biscuit gems and marshmallows decorating the side. But the price isn't too wallet friendly for this portion.

@bojiocafe have made their opening at @westgatesg selling 🀀 dessert items like Lava and Shibuya Toast!
Major discounts up to 50% happening at @bojiocafe for their Lava Toast! .
Tasted the Thai Ice Lava toast and found the Thai Ice Tea flavour less sweeter which complements perfectly with the Toast which was buttery-sweet!
Check out @bojiocafe for more and remember to 'Jio' your friends alrights!

Topped with Japanese yam ice cream. Ice cream is good but the toast became smaller? Not too sure if it is because we use the student promotion. The β€œlava” also shrink with the toast too!

Raclette Cheese On A Toast?
Say WHAAAAT Yum Yum πŸ‘…
The Semi Melted Swiss Cheese that Are Ultra Stretchy And Blends Smoothly To The Crunchy Toast.. Mmmm
The Thai milk tea is unique in ice blended form which I liked- but my Cousin and mum dislike the blend and thought that it will be better without the ice instead.
Overall a good tea break, although place is small and a little unkempt (got chocolate stained on my dress upon seating down)
However, will be back to try the Mentaiko toast- though toasts are a bit on the expensive side

Reasonable price and promo 50% off on 2nd waffle. Quite small tho and ventilation is not that good.

Bought the Mentaiko Lava toast, with vanilla ice cream and Thai Milk Tea.
Gets a bit gelat after a few mouths, wished I brought sushi along so can dip the generous amount of mentaiko πŸ™Š
Rate: 3/5 🌟 - too pricey, will not go again
