We prefer Ondeh Ondeh to these Kueh Dadars both in texture& flavour as Ondeh Ondeh is more intense.π
Pandan flavoured rice ballcoated in grated coconut stuffed with brown sugar syrup. Soft & fluffy outside but bursting with flavour once you take a bite! They did a great job as the skin is not so thick and the filling is so shiok! πβοΈ #eatinginmoderation
It does not go to great lengths to set itself apart by having fanciful decorations, luscious glace or instagram-worthy aesthetics. However, it remains well-loved by us! π

Beneath the firm custardy pandan layer of pretty grass green lies a soft & fluffy pandan chiffon layer. Repeat this 2 or 3 times, top with finely-grated coconut shavings, & there you have it! πππ As simple as it sounds, the taste is pretty outstanding! The subtle fragrance of pandan stands out & it's not too sweet. π

I recall they used to be too dense & compact which I didnβt like. This pretty fruity cake has pleasantly surprised me with its fluffy light sponge & mild taste of just right sweetness.
