BEAST (The Intermark)

I’m a huge sucker for anything with dark, classy furnishing and an even greater nosh, and this place just happens to have both.

While I only managed to capture the Beast Grilled Beef Burger (RM89) pictured here, the real winner has to be Beast’s Mac & Cheese (RM25), which deserves an honourable mention especially from someone who doesn’t like cheese to the extent where its immediate smell would nip me out of the room or fifty-kilometres off the cheese radar… but damn, Beast’s Mac & Cheese is probably one of the very few dishes I would happily tuck into any day. Served piping hot in a black iron cast crock-pot with rich, creamy roasted cheese topped with breadcrumbs… gone before a ‘gram was even possible.

The burger’s okay but the Mac & Cheese is what you should come here for!

This masculine steakhouse, complete with dim lighting and leather seats, sets the tone for a sexy Valentine's Day date night. Steaks are the main draw here. You wouldn't go wrong with the Master Kobe Wagyu Marble 9+ Striploin (RM148 per 100g, minimum 200g order), with sauce and gravy options including truffle béarnaise, chimichurri and cep reduction. Apart from steaks, other stellar mains include the Beast Lobster (RM240), a crab and scallop mouse stuffed lobster served with lobster bisque, and the Big M&C Burger (RM68) with baked macaroni and three cheese sauce. Save space to share the Truffle-scented Mac ‘n’ Cheese (RM20) on the side, and if you can still stomach it, the Beasty Tiramisu (RM38) for dessert.

A deconstructed and elegantly looking piece of art and edible as well.. Yeah! Despite it being so beautiful and sumptuous like the Italian ladies are (Sofia Loren), it's a bitter version of this international favourite that has an overpowering bitterness and the strong espresso coffee which maybe to some it's pure delight but I prefer it to have a harmonious balance in terms of the sweet and bitter of it.. Still nice but rich and creamy.. It's great for sharing

Delicious dessert with beautifully cooked apples that is soft yet firm and slightly warm which goes well with the vanilla ice cream.. Yummy! It definitely makes everyone happy when eating this plate of deliciousness
