This is certainly closer to balestier than novena! Was glad to have been recommended this ramen, with gao gao thick delicious soup! Anniversary special $10+ $2 egg + 3 gyoza and green tea set. I couldnā€™t take most of the chashu cos I donā€™t take fatty meat but what I could eat was delicious! The gyoza was also pretty amazing, one of the few times when fried gyoza surprised me by being tender and soft! And what a pretty ceramic cup! Really wonder what these flecks areā€¦ is it collagen? Someone enlighten me!

The broth is super thick as well. Not as savoury as the first time i tried but still taste great.

The chicken ramen broth was v delicious - it wasnā€™t v thick but it had a somewhat creamy, strong chicken flavour. Only thing is that it was quite oily. The noodles were al dente as well, and it came with black fungus plus scallions, and 2 ā€œgrilled chickenā€. Wouldnā€™t recommend this tho, despite the delish soup, because the ā€œgrilled chickenā€ was just sliced chicken rolled into medallions, and they were of terrible quality - tastes like frozen chicken u get at food courts and places like pho street, shan cheng etc. Rly such a pity bc it would have been a great bowl of chicken ramen had they just invested in a better chicken supplier šŸ˜¢

Gyoza is the kind with a skirt; I wished it was more crisp. It was better when I had it 4 years ago. The filling is still nice, juicy and not too strongly flavoured, gyoza skin was also moist and not hard. Served with a slightly tangy + salty dipping sauce!
