[CLOSED] A.S. Seafood Soup (Depot Road)

Was craving so badly for Sin Kee Seafood Soup, but they're closed on Mondays. Found this good looking alternative at Depot road instead! Ingredients were generous and fresh - fish slices, prawns, crayfish and minced pork biscuits. This was good but I find Sin Kee's soup to be more intense and flavorful. Soup portion is greater here!

You can choose to have your soup with crayfish/ pomfret/ red grouper for $10 and above but I just simply went with the seafood soup because I was there for the soup!! They were rather generous with the fish and I love the minced meat chunks that had mushrooms in it! Prawns were really fresh too and I would think that the fresh ingredients contributed to the wholesome seafood soup that doesn't seem to be enough no matter how many times I eat it!

Hearsay is the disciple of the woodlands stall. Very fresh seafood used. $12 for the crayfish/pomfret combination. One of the best seafood soup. Too bad it is closing the depot branch on 15th April 2016.
