The Lychee Rose cake contained layers of moist vanilla cake studded with sweet, juicy lychee pieces which paired perfectly with the light rose scented chantilly cream. The macarons was really good as well. Chewy, sweet shell with a light cream filling.

Starting from the left, speculoos, hazelnut, salted caramel, dark chocolate and oreo. Hazelnut, salted caramel and dark chocolate tasted really chocolatey, especially salted caramel does not have too much of the salted caramel taste. Oreo one is just oreo crumbs, the inner filling is custard and oreo taste is too subtle.

The salted caramel tastes the best and ๐น rose is next! The other flavours tastes quite ok. Would love to try their lychee martini, matcha and champagne flavours. Will definitely get them again. With preference for a more chewy yet crisp bite, I found that AnnaBella Patisserieโs macarons was a nice combination of both.Having managed to snagged a box of 6 before their Pop-up at Westgate ends, I was quite impressed by their variety and of course the spectrum of colours they offered. Priced at $10 for each box, it is pretty reasonable for the taste and texture. The delicate shell also held a good balance of crumble and cloud of creme. Not unduly sweet, you too, can taste the distinct flavours from each coloured macaron though preferably stronger.

I adored their selection of generously filled macarons, with each of them being small and light with just the right amount of crisp, followed by an indulgently smooth filling. They do โmeltโ rather fast, as the filling were slowly becoming soft while I was taking these photos, so eat them fresh out of the fridge! They were a hit with my folks too, as it wasnโt overly sweet like some of the typical ones we taste in SG. I guess, the real sweetness came from this surprise delivery, which was more than sufficient for me โจ
