One of the best kueh salats I have had, which isn't saying too much because I haven't tried many. I like the pandan custard here - it is fragrant, smooth and just the right amount of firmness. The only part lacking is the glutinous rice, which was tough, grainy and didn't have a strong coconutty taste. However, I have tried the kueh salat from the same shop a few months back and it wasn't like this then, so maybe this is an anomaly.
$3.50 for 3. Omg don't buy this, the green layer is ok, could be more flavorful but it's nice. The glutinous rice layer has almost no flavor and tastes just like plain glutinous rice. Not sure if it's just this batch or it's the usual taste.
$2.50 for 6 pcs (ate 1 already :P). Bought this from the food fair stall at Tiong Bahru Plaza. It's nice, the gula melaka bursts upon biting into it with fragrant pandan smell. Wished the skin was thinner but I would buy this again.
