This stall serves very affordable, fresh and tasty old favourite Teochew dishes and they are well known for their steamed fish and handmade fish cake so it is a definitely must-order. The constant long queues are a good indication of their popularity but they are quite efficient and the wait is relatively short.
I loved their average-sized, fresh and tender steamed grouper. It was served hot and fresh out from the steamer, topped with salted vegetables and sliced ginger along with clear and subtly sweet broth 》$15
At this kinda cooling climate, there are not many foods that could bring you great comfort!
Fish cake is amazing, hae bee hiam is excellent and overall great prices. All these dishes amount to $11.
I'd say this is really a good place for your Teochew porridge craving. Apart from its cheap price, it doesnt compromise on the taste.
Minced meat is cooked just nice, not too dry and savoury. Also should order their fish cake which I guess is homemade.
Veggie:$1, Meat: $2
Total damage: $12.7
Steamed squid – fresh and tender. It is appetisingly dressed with chilli, a killer match.

First meal I had since coming back to sg. Sometimes the simplest meals are the best :)
