We don't usually eat too much fried foods, but the fritters here were a pleasure to indulge on. They are fried on the spot and move fast, so you get them piping hot. The goreng pisang (2pcs for $1) were fresh, and coated with a light, crispy batter, sweet and moist to the tastebuds. We tried the cempedak (4pcs for $1) too, tastes just as delicious, and especially sweet and fragrant from the fruit!

Alwadi has a good variety of simple street food at reasonable prices. You'll see Singaporeans, regardless of race, enjoying their food!
