πŸ’¬ Ajisen ramen is a household name. It has been around even before the ramen craze invaded Singapore. The standard has fallen over the years (or maybe my standard has risen) and with it tasting comparable to instant ramen, I cannot justify its price point. I am shocked that there are still people dining in here when they can get better tasting ramen, usually even within the same shopping mall. The tonkotsu broth was bland and the noodles were a lackluster. The scallops were not too tough but definitely heading towards the chewier side. The only plus point for me was the reminiscence of my earlier ramen days.

Scallops lover should definitely order this bowl of ramen.. despite how unsought after ajisen ramen is compared to other ramen chains in sg, I find that they have improved over the years. Its still not too bad overall especially with the ramen set with sides and drinks - definitely value for money.
Price:~$15+

Not jelak at all bcs there's a soury and hint of spicy kick in it! Noodles were chewy and springy. The slice pork was very thin and flavorful!

The Kyushu ramen is on the thin side but overall a satisfying ramen meal. Been a while since I've been to Ajisen Ramen and the taste is not as bad as I had assumed.

πŸ’• Jumping onto the salted egg bandwagon, Ajisen had just recently launched a seasonal special of salted egg ramen (both dry and soup version). Surprisingly good with well marinated salted egg deep fried chicken chunks! πŸ˜‹ On a side note, all the best to all who are having finals tomorrow! πŸ’ͺ🏻
