Ajisen Ramen (Tiong Bahru Plaza)

Ajisen is decent for a quick ramen fix but it is really quite salty, felt very thirsty after the meal. We also had boiled gyozas which were really appetising.

Used to find Ajisen Ramen too heavily laden with Ajinomoto. It's a lot better now, pretty satisfying for a neighbourhood ramen place, although that egg is still not the way we'd love 🍳🍳

Not usually a fan of Ajisen Ramen, but this tom yum soup base was pretty appetising, some lemongrass bits in it. Complete with an ala carte side dish and drink, value for money.

I ❤️ Ramen.

It was a disappointment because there wasn't much flavours from the Redbean Ice-Cream and for its price, we expected much more quality, definitely not recommended!

Ajisen Ramen is a rather standard dish with 3 slices of Char Siew and half an egg. Its does not taste fantastic but she's glad that it's not overly salty. The Volcano Ramen was not as spicy as we imagined but there is still a kick. Toppings is the same as the Ajisen Ramen and we felt like we paid the extra $3 just for the Volcano sauce!
