[CLOSED] Ah Lemak

Had the Golden Wing Buddy Set, using the Burpple deal! Have to caution Burpple users that this is NOT a 1 for 1 deal, it simply entitles you to $0.20 off per set (usual price 2 for $8.40).

Nevertheless, the rice was flavourful and decadent with a fatty coconut fragrance. Some may say it needs to be stronger, but I think it’s just nice for the ‘lemak’ feel. The sambal was not too strong, and ikan bilis + peanuts crunchy and crispy. The sunny-side up egg was executed perfectly, but nothing special there.

The chicken wing was on point. It was a good juicy wing that makes me want more. Maybe I should have bought the double wing set :D I’ll be back for more nasi lemak from here!

The recommended dish by the chefs here, the mutton did not disappoint, there was absolutely no gaminess taste. The curry was thick & flavourful.

As reviewed earlier, their chicken wing is damn solid la. A must have.

Sambal damn good, will ask for more next time

Chicken was fresh and not over-cooked, like ikea chicken wing, but better.

The soft shell crab meat was soft and surprisingly goes damn well with the sambal.
