It was very packed on a Friday dinner time. Managed to get a seat within a few minutes. The arrangement of the seatings are quite close together, considering how small the restaurant is.
Ordered their Premium Buta Don ($16.50- bottom) and Aburi Salmon Don ($14.50- top). Food came decently fast (around 15mins). The Pork Loin was charred perfectly and the meats were thin and tender which I enjoy. There were 4 big slices & few smaller slices. Same goes with the salmon.
Overall, not too bad to have this if you are craving for good quality pork/salmon served with japanese rice. You can never go wrong eating here.

Brought a friend who was missing Japanese food here and she loved everything! In particular, the grilled mentaiko was very good - I donβt really see mentaiko that is not mentaiko sauce so this was a pleasant surprise. The pork was also very good; it melts in the mouth!
Price-wise, this is quite reasonable. Itβs about 30 per person when we ordered everything (maybe about 4 dishes and 2 rice?) ala carte to share.
Tender, juicy, and smoky β¨ this Iberico Hoho Don ($17.90++) features sliced grilled Iberico pork jowl on a bed of Jap rice.
Love that what I had recently has a more charred taste that matches well with the teriyaki sauce on top. Me, being a big eater, would have loved to have a bigger serving tho π
Love how we will presented with two bowls of wholesome bowl of goodness β thick cuts of natural fatty meat that came with miso soup (refreshing, light & sweet that isnβt too salty)

The dining area is pretty small, so do get your don fix earlier before the dinner crowd π
