One of the rare times I ventured out of conventional Asian/European cuisine and this mixed grill ($33) from Urban Bites didn’t disappoint!! Nobody says no to kebabs especially when they are as juicy and tender as these.
To me potato head folk remains one of the best places for a romantic night out or just a htht with a good friend. Exuding chill vibes and serving good quality food, the only thing stopping me from visiting often is the price point. But I guess you pay for the view too? Miss this place and the naughty fries!!
Have been wanting to go back wanhelou for not just its famed lobster porridge but also the tasty sides like four Seasons beans and fried lotus. Heard they have a lunch set now at $12.80, if only I work nearby!!
Everyone loves a good lava! I miss dining here right at East Coast Park because of the ambience and the opportunity for a romantic stroll afterwards :) this burger is on the pricey side ($24.80) But would recommend it for the experience.
Missing this Volcanic Avalanche ($15.80) inspired by the geography background of Froroll’s founder. Photogenic yet tasty!
The Crisp Battered Pacific Cod and Doenjang Mash ($14) was one of my must eats in Two Hana. It’s like fish and chips but with a korean twist, serving mash instead of fries. The sauce really gives the crisp fish the X factor it needs.
This is my favourite Korean food place!! I love their hot stone bibimbap (~$16) and I recently decided to try their kimchi fried rice with cheese (~$15). This place is run by Koreans and their food is really good and value for money because of the sides and portion size! Would come back again if I’m working around the area, pity I’m further now.
The strawberry waffles ($9) was aesthetically pleasing and definitely instagrammable, but I didn’t really like the waffles because it’s the hard type which they said was deliberate. Still worth a try.
The kimchi carbonara ($20) didn’t quite meet my expectations because it was a tad too watery and salty. My pasta was swimming in the sauce..
My first thought was: I am drinking a cake, this is too sinful. But I couldn’t stop! The crunchy chocolate bits were addictive and it complements the drink very well. At $8.53, this is like getting your ice Milo and cake combined into one.
Tried the beef stew ($10) and the bacon n chip butty ($5). Both were delicious although a bit pricey but I Guess it is still value for money! Never tried the ones in England before so I can’t rlly compare, but still enjoyed my experience here!
Not sure why this place seems so quiet when the food is yummy and hearty, perhaps because it is slightly expensive and the whole mall in general seems quite deserted. But I really enjoyed my dinner here because the Soupertang Signature Soup (which they are famous for) ($26.90) had a whole chicken in it and really reminds me of my mum’s/grandmum’s cooking at home! This beancurd is also their specialty and comes with two sauces (ginger and caramel) ($3.50)
