Love the old school collection of toys and trinkets here, makes us feel like we are in a museum and cafe all in one. Food was affordable and delicious, interior was spacious and quiet. Would totally come back for a nice night out.

Hidden gem in Bishan with fairy lights and great vibes - Love the fusion food here, and the spacious yet cosy seats, no wonder they are so popular with the residents!

They offer such an extensive yet affordable menu ranging from fusion to Thai, we had such a hard time choosing. In the end we got their signature Tom Yum Seafood Pasta, Fried Chicken and Waffles, Free-Range Chicken and Phad Thai! They were all so tasty, and I would gladly come back to Bishan just to eat the Chicken and Waffles again! Think fluffy yet crispy sweet waffles topped with generous servings of fried chicken šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹

Btw definitely get their humongous milkshakes or chocolate lava cake for a sweet ending to your meal!

Was intrigued by the cool bubble tea concoctions at @37degrees.sg , an off-the-radar bubble tea shop located in Clementi Bus Interchange.
.
We tried the:
Beauty Strawberry Horlicks (actually a pretty good combi I quite like it even though it could be less sweet)
Peach QQ+Coconut Jelly (safe and refreshing choice!)
Harry Potter Butterbeer Chocolate (a great choice for chocolate lovers with a layer of cheese foam, couldnā€™t taste the butterbeer if any)
Cucumber Coconut (refreshing though one might taste more cucumber than coconut)
.
Saw many students buying from them, a testament to their affordable yet unique options šŸ˜‹

Nice coffee spot tucked in a corner of fairprice at Vivo city - great pit stop while doing your grocery shopping, perfect respite for people watching!

Visited @isshoizakaya because we had a 50 off 100 voucher. Highly recommend the desserts! The matcha azuki and earl grey cheesecake were delish! I enjoyed the indoor seats which were more private and had a nice view of the mini fountain.

Visited @isshoizakaya because we had a 50 off 100 voucher. They had an extensive menu which made us spoilt for choice and was really promising. Izakaya was really good, but sashimi fell short of expectations.

Can never go wrong with their cakes
We ordered the
Queen Ispahan: a subtle blend of Rose, Raspberries, and Lychee, Iā€™m not typically a fan of lychee/rose flavours but I enjoyed this.
Konichiawa Hojicha: consists of Hōjicha Ganache and Hōjicha Chantilly in between layers of Hōjicha SoufflĆ© Chiffon Sponge and Hōjicha Tea Specks for finishing touch.

Snuggled in a little shophouse near Mattar/MacPherson MRT, had a cosy time enjoying some authentic Thai food
We tried the egg omelette (crispy and flavourful batter)
Overall enjoyed my meal here especially because of the cosy shophouse vibes and warm service

We tried the Soi Aroy Signature Mixed Platter (torched on the spot!) brought us back to Thailand with the mooping šŸ˜‹

Featuring yet another new-found love been eating this for the past two Saturdays because itā€™s so yummmss. I never really liked bagels before this and I didnā€™t even understand the hype with the famous bagel house, but somehow I just crave for this every time Iā€™m around SMU. I always get the cheese toppings bagel (you get to choose among a few types of bagel at no additional cost), and the ingredients are soooo juicy and fresh! Few months back I ordered Something Fishy ($11), and half of it dropped on the floor sad šŸ˜ž (you can see that in the pics) But I was totally sold by the juicy tender smoked salmon (the best smoked salmon Iā€™ve had in my life) and I knew I had to go back. Subsequent two times I went and DIYed, choosing their smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, portobello mushroom and the caramelized onion sauce ($12.50). The ingredients are really juicy and served hot, the mushrooms just burst with flavour in your mouth

Thanks to my friend who brought me to this latest hidden gem @1826.sg along Boat Quay, they offer 2/3-course lunch sets even on weekends with plenty of tasty options, I would say itā€™s value for money! They also have a pretty generous happy hour saw many visiting for drinks even in the afternoon. Most importantly we enjoyed chilling on the swing seats right beside the river, allowing us to soak in the ambience. Their indoor seats are very welcoming too (swipe right for the video), probably a better option in daytime. Even the washroom is nice Iā€™m not kidding šŸ˜‚ A special shout out to the service that made our visit such a great one, the staff were hospitable and personable, adding a sweet note to our meal.
