My family’s favourite dim sum place is found within a coffee shop at 419 Tampines. Founded by a Hong Kong-er this place serves good ol dimsum at really really affordable prices. Our favourite is the deep fried dumpling which is stuffed with fresh prawn and meat ingredients, always sold out!

Yes this is from mealpal!! You can opt to dine in if you want which makes this one of my favourite mealpal places 😋 they were also really generous with the salmon slices (those fried things), cabbage and noodles! This is also my first time trying their soup ramen, I think I love both.

This was so so good and it’s rare that I tasted something that lived up to the hype. Best beef I’ve ever eaten in my life, well marinated and tender, topped with the spicy mentai sauce is such a mindblowing combination. They also have really fresh sashimi, I will be sure to come back!

Went back to Omu just to try another dish on their menu. This of course didn’t disappoint and the portions were so generous. There were also chicken pieces in the tomato-coated rice, yums! Tomato sauce packed separately.

Maybe I collected it a little late but I believe it will taste better when you eat it hot. The salted egg chicken was well coated in curry leaves and salted sauce and the other ingredients are fresh. Salsa sauce served separately so you choose how much you want!

Finally tried this highly-raved chocolate pie! It was decent but not mind blowing. Maybe the many positive reviews resulted in my overly high expectations. eat while it is hot to prevent it from becoming too cloying

So value for money! They were generous with the pork slices and the omelette seems to be the original size. The curry is also packed hot and separately so you can choose how much you need. I throughly enjoyed this and it’s now one of my favourite mealpal.

So my family never fails to order this knowing that it’s my fav, but it seems like we found the best one! The pork ribs was so well coated and oozing with coffee fragrance my mum thought she won’t be able to sleep cuz of the caffeine. The coffee fragrance even had a chocolatey tinge which I like. The ribs also had balance of fats and meat, i am sold!

One of my favourite yam paste around! Not too sweet and not too cloying, and the portion is just right for one pax. The corn is also a nice touch to the yam paste because it gives you that extra crunch (you never know you needed). Perfect sweet end to a meal.

I love this set from Pappa Mia. Look at the runny egg, well marinated satay and fragrant fried rice. Pair it with the sambal Chili and it is a sinfully hearty meal 😋

Part of the breakfast buffet at walking on sunshine, this was well-toasted and chock full of fresh ingredients. The melted gooey cheese, fresh tomato slices and beef complemented each other really well. I prefer this over their spicy pork panini.

This was so small I felt like all I got was probably 1/3 of the original portion. But the taste was decent.
