The sashimi could be better flavoured because it was quite tasteless, although I appreciate a good crisp crust and cheese! If you have a group recommended to use burpple beyond or use chope vouchers for 50% off during off peak times. We topped up with chicken meat for extra flavour. Recommend to get the mentaiko fries which gets pretty addictive

First time trying a whole piece of unagi all to myself and it was really delicious! Thought there was too little sauce in the rice but this makes for an affordable meal if you have burpple beyond

Regular comes with two proteins one base 5 standard toppings and guacamole! I am not a fan of anything that resembles a salad but I love the pulled pork and tangy tofu here, and recommend to get the pasta and lettuce base for a fulfilling meal

Iberian Pork Secreto: There’s options for medium well or well done so we got medium well. Meat is very flavourful. The creamy tangy mash contrasts well with the sweetness of the pork

I think they recently revamped their truffle fries from thick slices of potato to curly fries and this was so so good if not better than the previous version. Every bite was so fragrant and crisp!

I have a love for crab meat pasta and this was pretty good! Tasty sauce, al dente tagliatelle pasta and generous servings of crab meet! The herbed breadcrumbs and parsley added a really nice touch to the pasta. Save more with #burpplebeyond

Haven’t eaten daily cut in ages because of the high price point but yay this is really yummy! I love the house seasoning (the red spices on top) and the big oyster mushrooms. Pretty filling even though I got the petite size.

Other than the fact that the chicken skin was a wee bit soggy and not as crunchy as I expected it to be, the soy sauce was on point! Given the portion the price is a little high though.

If you come on weekdays they have lunch sets at $15 with a plethora of options for 1 main, 1 side (soup salad or tater tots) and 1 drink! I like the citrus drink and tater tots! The prawn pasta was a bit too wet although it was fragrant and had a generous serving of prawns.

It was pretty dark inside hence the not so appealing photo, but the seafood soup was so good! Very flavourful and chock full of ingredients such as mussels and squid. Highly recommend this especially during a rainy day.

Can’t believe the entire Tanjong Pagar stretch of korean restaurants didn’t have a proper bingsu stall so my dad suggested going to our old favourite - mei heong yuen for reliable and affordable shaved ice. Never fails to satisfy our cravings for sweet icy dessert ^^

Had their signature charsiew and it was goooodddd, the portion is big enough for two pax though I can imagine myself finishing it all by myself 😋 the scallops wantons were a bit bland maybe I should try the sichuan fillings next time. Do get the meekias at $1 each: though simple, it’s qq and flavourful! By the wau it’s really affordable if you use #burpplebeyond
