No longer just limited to early birds, night owls can also satisfy their nasi lemak cravings here as they open till 9.30pm. Special mention should be made to the crispy fried chicken likely spice-rubbed with turmeric, galangal and lemongrass 😋😋😋.

Juicy beef burger patty enveloped in aged (not processed) cheddar cheese paired with fluffy sourdough buns, bacon, red onions, tomatoes, fresh lettuce and the Hans im Glück sauce (which tasted like a mix between barbecue and thousand island sauce). Tip: add in the orange sauce which comes in a bottle at every table for an extra kick 😋😋. I’ll be back to try their more unconventional burgers with feta cheese and fig jam. ❤️ their location and decor.

160gms of grilled salmon steak nestled on a bed of crisp potato rosti, topped with dill crème fraîche and salmon roe. The salmon was pink and moist in the middle whilst the rosti was well seasoned and crispy. 😋😋😋

Kneaded sweetened dough, deep fried and sprinkled with sesame seeds. It was crisp on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. A perfect sweet and savoury snack. 😋😋😋

The simple Har Kow is naturally colored with purple radish and topped with caviar for an artisanal finish. At the back on the right is their popular Hokkaido Milk Cheese Tart which I highly recommend that you try as it was super yum (even for someone who doesn’t like cheese tarts). The waitress kindly brought over a plate as they were running out and I had just started on the dim sum. 😋😋😋 Happy Friday! ❤️

For a healthy vegan alternative to red meats, I tried the cauliflower steak (yes, you read right). It was nicely charred yet still tender from spending time in the oven following a full day being sous vide in vinegar. The roasted red pepper puree and coriander and parsley relish served on the side added a more flavourful finish. We all had a good laugh after on the fact that I paid S$22 for a 1/3 head of a cauliflower. 😋

Aglio Olio style pasta with smoked duck breast and shimeiji mushrooms drizzled with RV Cafe’s special oriental sauce that has a hint of garlic and chili. My favourite dish here. As their branch at Changi Airport is relatively quiet, you should always be able to book a table on eatigo for 20-40% off the menu prices. 😋😋

Prepared using locally farmed barramundi, the expertly prepared fish was teamed with a creamy red curry base with a subtle nutty flavour and, nested on a bed of tangy pomegranate, barley and pineapple salad. 😋😋

When perfectly crispy prawn parcels meet creamy Japanese mayo, magic happens. 😋😋😋 A Little magic is always necessary on a Monday work-day 😊

In the front: Steamed Prawn Dumpling with Black Garlic (good); the pink one: Steamed Sha Cha Beef Dumpling (very good); the crispy one: Fried Yam Puff with Minced Chicken, Mushrooms and Dried Shrimp (I can eat two plates of these 😋😋😋).

Add-on Pan Seared Foie Gras, S$7. Tender, melt-in-your-mouth slow-cooked Angus beef short rib on umami claypot rice with the ‘wok-hei’ taste, topped with fresh baby tomatoes and laksa leaves. Highly recommended for beef lovers. 😋😋😋

Bought the bread home and topped it with buttery creamy scrambled eggs, Parma ham, hollandaise sauce and caviar. The plate made me feel like a proper cook but actually, only the eggs were homemade 🙊
