12â thin crust pizza, topped with honey baked ham, feta cheese, wild rocket salad, tomato concasse, and a sunny side up smack in the middle of it all. I thought the pizza was delicious - with a combination of ingredients like that itâs hard to go wrong. It was just nice in terms of portion size, my friend and I shared it as we werenât feeling too hungry during lunch. She liked this pizza too!
Do note that they do not serve tap water here - youâd have to buy bottled mineral water for $2 if you wanted some.
Cafe was spacious yet cozy, made for a nice afternoon lunch venue.
Pretty tasty, and I liked that there was quite a generous amount of meat too. Wasnât mind blowing but it was still not bad. It came with miso soup, pickled radish, and a slice of orange.
Place was quite casual, service was friendly as well. Quite a good place for a quick Japanese meal with a small group of friends if youâre around the area.
This Chai Tea Latte was very smooth and comforting - spices were not too intense and the drink was overall more towards the sweeter side. Its sweetness was a great accompaniment to the savoury Italian dishes we ordered.

Taste wise, pretty good - sweet and savoury, not spicy at all. For $8.90, I do wish there were a bit more chicken. Fortunately we used the Burpple 1-for-1 deal so this was a bit more reasonably priced after the discount.
This restaurant remains as one of my go-to places to redeem Burpple Beyond deals, as it is pretty worth it in terms of quantity and quality. Service was friendly too.
Phad Thai was not too bad, though not as tasty as their vermicelli in my opinion. For some reason the phad thai was rather healthy(?) tasting and didnât have that tasty kick which we were hoping to get. It was still not too bad for a dinner dish and was quite substantial.

Quite a large plate of vermicelli! The noodles were chewy and very tasty. There is no spice in this dish which worked out well for my friend who cannot take spice. This definitely filled us up with such generous amounts of vermicelli - was great for sharing.
Very worth it in terms of price, amount and taste, after using the Burpple 1-for-1 deal. Iâll definitely be back to redeem more deals at this restaurant! If you dine in, just note that thereâll be GST and service charge.
Essentially just a fancy name for Iced Chocolate. I ordered a takeaway so I couldnât really appreciate the chocolate foam topping which the drink was supposed to have. Was a fitting sweet, chocolatey accompaniment to the otherwise savoury and salty bagels. Pricey for what it actually is so would only get it with the Burpple Beyond 1-for-1 deal.
It appeared they charged me $1 more for takeaway of my two bagels and two drinks, but the guy at the counter immediately crushed the receipt the moment it came out and threw it away, which I thought was a little bit sus. Anyway he looked new and a little nervous so I decided not to pursue it.
(Edit: The nice staff at Whiskdom messaged me to track my order - the additional $1 was for the drink to be iced. But I wasnât informed of this and wasnât provided a receipt to check - mustâve been some kind of miscommunication.)
I went at about 6.30pm and most of their drinks were unavailable, which left me with only a few options. I was their only customer at that time and waiting time was about 20-30 minutes for my two bagels and drinks to be ready.
I guess overall the experience here wasnât the best for me, but Iâm willing to give it another chance and try their bakes, since thereâs the Beyond 1-for-1 deal.
Mocha was more towards the sweet chocolate-y side so the fragrance from the espresso got a little overpowered unfortunately. Was a little watery as well. Overall was an average drink, wouldnât get it on its own as I would rather go to other speciality coffee or beverage places for that kind of price tag. But I used the Burpple Beyond 1-for-1 deal so it made the drink reasonably priced! The stickers here are so cute too which made me smile when I saw the cup.

An old school pau shop - taste and standard wise I would think pretty normal (we tried char siew bao, da bao, and siew mai) but somehow thereâs something about these paus that make them so irreplaceably nostalgic! Perhaps receiving them all packed into a plain cardboard box also plays a part in its exuding of old school vibes.
Think old school places like these may reduce in number over time, so I treasure my every visit here.
Picture on the menu showed a Ferris wheel but we got a guitar instead. đ Perhaps they thought we were too cool. Totally gimmicky but we just got this for the laughs. The lights on it kind of went off after an hour or so - I think it went out of battery.
The soju shots appeared to be full but we realised that the lychee in the shot glass took up half of the space inside it. It was still a nice sweet touch to it though. We enjoyed drinking from our colourful guitar, alternating the salty lokloks with the sweet soju and lychees.
Finding the shop was a bit shady as a whiff of cigarette smoke overwhelmed me when I entered the mall, followed by some pretty girls in short dresses and high heels walking past me. The loklok shop itself was fine though - the dining area is in a dimly lit bar, with high chairs and all.
Thereâre two screens in the bar where they play and screen karaoke songs. You can ask for the mic if youâre brave (or drunk) enough to sing in front of all the customers. At some point I think some of the staff were singing some Chinese songs.
Was overall a fun experience enjoying our loklok with some soju, singing along to some pop songs - yeah we didnât take the mic - but sang, ate and drink to our heartâs (and stomachâs) content!
We indulged ourselves with these little snacks on sticks, deep fried with seasoning. Very sinful, but the seasoning and the crunch make it so addictive. Thereâs a fair range of loklok to choose from, and the platter comes with some simple Asian style sauces.

Creamy milky ice cream with Oreo bits and marshmallows inside. Very kid-friendly - a sweet childhood dream come true! Been here multiple times and their ice cream never disappoint. I would say that it isnât mind blowing but itâs good ice cream. Sweet Cheeks is definitely a go-to gelato place for my friends and I.
The seating area is quite spacious, with multiple tables and stools for slightly larger groups. We visited on a weekday night so finding seats wasnât too big of an issue for us.
