Modern take of Hor Fun with good amount of Wokhei. Delicious and enjoyed by the family.

Promotion on-going now, with 50% off this signature dish, would recommend!

The hummus was delicious, pita was soft and fresh. The restaurant has high ceilings, beautifully decorated. Enjoyed the meal and experience overall.

The weekday lunch deal drew me in to this cafe. Pleasantly surprised with the creativity of the menu - modern Japanese menu, enjoyed lunch here. Look forward to try the drinks here next time.

One of my favourite places for Unagi for sure.

Delicious tender Unagi, and especially with the Hitsumabushi set we can enjoy the same meal it in a variety of ways.

Delicious food, including classic Peranakan main dish, satisfying variety of side dishes, complete with a drink and desert.

Somehow reminded of a Japanese bento set.

Good place for a casual comforting meal.

We were wondering what we could do for a fine Sunday afternoon, and really glad that we decided on Champion Bolo.

Despite the queue ( was the 2nd weekend of opening ) and slightly pricier fare, the excellent food and tranquil cafe-like seating area did make up for it.

Enjoyed the larger-than-usual buns, with a thick crispy fragrant crust and tender soft buns.

Would recommend, especially to those who would enjoy non-cafe food in a cafe environment 😄

One of my favourite buffets in Singapore, we had an absolutely fantastic dinner again.

Managed to catch the lobster buffet (April 2021) - lobster briyani, boston lobster, maine lobster rolls, lobster clam chowder, lobster thermidor with grilled cheese, and many more - truly enjoyable.

Mixed grill was delicious as well - lamb, chicken, pork jowl, salmon, and oysters etc.

The desert lineup was good, selected a few including the choux pastries ( as shown in picture ) and enjoyed these too.

Paired with cranberry juice, coffee, wine / beer, a perfect end to a hectic week.

Enjoyed the good serving size and different types of dips / sauces provided. Fresh taste of vegetables. Meats were nicely grilled, tender and with a slight char. Overall experience is pleasant.

The restaurant also has a nice ambience, large spacious tables with comfortable lighting, suitable for gatherings.

Stumbling into the cafe on a rainy afternoon, we were heartened to find a very cosy and comforting level 2 eating area, perfect to unwind on a weekend afternoon with good food and tea.

My personal favourite was the salmon ochazuke, perfectly pan fried salmon, served with slightly savoury anchovies, mixed with the warm soup - yum yum for my tum tum😋

The tamago sando was really good as well, toasted fluffy bread with a thick layer of tamago. Simple, classic and always enjoyable.

Already looking forward to returning again. Tis the stuff weekends are made of!

The pulled pork at the Sea Salt Caribbean Deli caught my attention initially, but eventually decided to order the fish instead as it felt like a healthier option. The roasted roots and salad were average - still nice nonetheless. Lightly grilled, the serving included a slice of salmon and seabass. A platter that may be shared.

Maybe we're lucky, maybe the uncle is generous by nature. The bowl was full of meat, egg, and peanut. Porridge was surprisingly smooth, making a nice and savoury meal overall!

TGIF dinner! Open 24hrs, look out for the neon lights along the streets to locate this hole in the wall.

Top 3 favs were the century egg porridge (generous amt of ingredients, super flavourful), crispy carrot cake (crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, amazing), and the longan sea coconut desert (not too sweet). Brilliant conclusion to another week.
