for super nutty and creamy gelato 😋
hands up if you love acai berries!! 🙌🏻 a much healthier alternative compared to the usual desserts we eat! chose almond butter and peanut butter and both went so well with the blended acai base, banana slices, cacao nibs, chia seeds and granola. a fulfilling yet guilt free dessert - what more can we ask for? definitely coming back for more! 😋
craving for tasty and fulfilling carbs? try these Ppongs at Nipong Naepong! the korean noodles look like spaghetti pasta but the texture of these noodles are surprisingly QQ & chewy instead! ordered the seafood with mozzarella cheese and vongole version of the Ppongs and both tasted really good! 😋 will definitely be back for more!
Looking for a twist in your ramen? Keisuke’s latest hybrid duck broth ramen surely did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations. To be honest, i really couldn’t imagine what duck broth ramen would taste like, but upon tasting these two variations, i must say my tastebuds were pretty impressed! 😋

Ordered both versions with the rich soup - each spoonful of soup was thick, rich and had a really smooth “smoky-duck-like” flavour that packed a punch! Both bowls came with two amazingly tender slices of duck meat and loads of goodies such as japanese fishcake, bamboo shoots, spinach (interesting choice of vege to use and complemented the dish well) and flavoured eggs. The special came with additional toppings of two duck yuzu balls and seaweed.

The duck yuzu balls were tender and tasty. As i’m not a fan of yuzu, i would’ve preferred it without the yuzu peel. But i’m pretty sure fans of citrus-y tasting food would love these duck balls.

Verdict: Would definitely come back for more when cravings hit!! 😂🙌🏻
For super tasty, well-seasoned bbq skewers! They allow you to choose the spiciness level and also have an option of it being non-spicy. Love their chicken wings, romaine lettuce, shitake mushrooms and grilled pork belly amongst many others! We ordered 32 sticks in total and 2 drinks, which came to $54 for 2 persons.
This 水饺面 was pretty tasty and the noodles were QQ in texture. Their chilli had “chicken rice chilli” standard and it went really well with the noodles and dumplings. The shrimp dumplings were plump and filled generously with fresh and succulent prawns, pork meat and black fungus that were lightly seasoned. Comes with vegetables and a bowl of soup. My tummy was satisfied! 😋
Trying these new Austrian cheese buns! Bought 1xoriginal and 1xchocolate. These buns are filled with loads of cream cheese in between and dusted with milk powder on the outside. For the chocolate flavour, it is actually a chocolate flavoured bun that is dusted with cocoa milk powder on the outside. Also comes in Tiramisu flavour. If you are a cheese lover, you’ll definitely love the strong smelling and taste of the oozing cream cheese. However, i found the ends of the bread a little hard and dry (not sure if its because i didn’t eat it straight away) but the inner/middle portion was still soft and moist. Overall, the taste did not exactly “wow” me and i find that its not really worth $5.80.
Back here to try their Buah Keluak burger - minced chicken patty mixed with buah keluak, topped with rempah sambal chilli and nonya chap chye, enclosed between two fluffy buns. The chicken patty was grilled till it was slightly charred on the outside; it was tender and the buah keluak added a touch of bitterness to the overall flavour. The sambal chilli also complemented the burger with its spiciness. Due to the bitterness of the buah keluak, i would say it would not be everyone’s cup of tea. Good to try for the novelty but i definitely prefer their sio bak burger instead!
Wagyu beef slices with a quinoa and pearl barley base; topped with edamame beans, sauteed mushrooms, kimchi beansprouts, cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumbers and an onsen egg. Reminds me of a healthy western version of the korean bibimbap. Unfortunately, i didn’t like the combination of the quinoa and barley base as it got quite slimy in texture. I would say its probably an acquired taste. Other than that, the rest of the ingredients were fresh and the wagyu beef was tender but lacking in flavour.
The flavour and texture of this dish wow-ed me at the first bite. The chicken cutlet was freshly fried and was super crispy, tender and not oily at all. Underneath that huge chicken cutlet was a bed of korean chewy noodles mixed with Gochujang sauce, mushrooms and the shredded cucumber added an extra crunch with each bite. The QQ and chewy texture of the noodles was so good and sauce had a nice spiciness level (sweet and spicy). Topped with a sunny side-up egg! What more can i ask for? 😉
The chocolate lava cake was oozing with warm and thick gooey chocolate; and was served with salted cornflake crumbs on top. Chose the option of having their signature truffle ice cream (+$2) instead of their vanilla bean ice cream, because i am a truffle lover 😆 However, the taste of the truffle was way too overwhelming for me despite my love for anything truffle. It’s worth a try for the novelty but i think I’ll stick with the savoury truffle food items for now 😅
Looks like a normal plain chocolate cake but looks are definitely deceiving! This rich chocolate stout cake was so soft and moist; and was totally not ‘jerlat’ even after a full meal! It had a cream cheese icing layer on top and the cake went really well with the vanilla ice cream together with the warm stout infused chocolate sauce! Definitely coming back for more 😋
