Tonkotsu mix soup based ramen, one infused with truffle oil and the other with spicy miso & minced pork. Both broths were really tasty - one offering a strong truffle taste with every slurp, the other offering a spicy kick with each mouthful š„ The crab cream croquette was crispy on the outside and rich & creamy on the inside! š
Super affordable & tasty tendons at Tenya! Appreciate their option to have less rice too. Would be back to try their cold udon version š To avoid the long waiting time, go during off-peak timings!
Genki Sushiās food never fails to satisfy my sushi and mentaiko cravings!! Fresh ingredients are used and prices are reasonable for the quality! š i now know why their queue is forever long š¤£
the highlight for me was their tempura fried poached egg, oozing with yolky goodness! served with melt-in-your-mouth chawanmushi š only downside was the tempura batter was not as crispy as i wished it to be
very well-executed bowl with a burst of flavours: house-made luncheon meat from Nagano pork, pan-seared foie gras, marinated mushrooms, pickled radish & a fried quailās egg atop fluffy japanese Koshibuki rice drizzled with house-made foie gras sauce. Sweet & savoury goodness with every mouthful!
super thick & creamy bowl of tonkotsu broth ramen for the meat lovers! comes with a generous portions of sauteed sliced US beef, nagano pork char siew, 8-hour slow roasted red wine boneless beef short ribs & lava egg, topped with beansprouts, bamboo shoots, black fungus & leeks.
Looking for a twist in your ramen? Keisukeās latest hybrid duck broth ramen surely did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations. To be honest, i really couldnāt imagine what duck broth ramen would taste like, but upon tasting these two variations, i must say my tastebuds were pretty impressed! š

Ordered both versions with the rich soup - each spoonful of soup was thick, rich and had a really smooth āsmoky-duck-likeā flavour that packed a punch! Both bowls came with two amazingly tender slices of duck meat and loads of goodies such as japanese fishcake, bamboo shoots, spinach (interesting choice of vege to use and complemented the dish well) and flavoured eggs. The special came with additional toppings of two duck yuzu balls and seaweed.

The duck yuzu balls were tender and tasty. As iām not a fan of yuzu, i wouldāve preferred it without the yuzu peel. But iām pretty sure fans of citrus-y tasting food would love these duck balls.

Verdict: Would definitely come back for more when cravings hit!! ššš»
Hands down this is the best tendon iāve eaten thus far. Every single piece of tempura was so flavourful, i was seriously spoilt for choice as to which to eat first. For $15, the portion and large variety of tempura (chicken, prawns, sotong, mushroom, long beans, corn etc.) they gave was definitely worth the price. The hokkaido pearl rice had a nice chewy texture and the tempura was well fried. Combined with the original or spicy sauce, everything came very well together.
absolute comfort food for rainy days š thick flavourful broth with springy noodles and yummy runny lava egg, without burning a hole in ur pocket š
for super delicious tendons that surpassed our expectations! ingredients used were really fresh and the tempura batter was light and fried till crisp. Ordered both tendons with the original sauce which was tasty and the special japanese rice they used was really good too. look out for that tempura battered onsen egg lying on top of the rice - runny egg yolk alert ššš» definitely coming back for more!!
both dishes were yummy! š beef was tender, tasty and can be cooked to the doneness to ur liking with the hot plate. crab cream croquettes were flavourful & packed with crab meat inside - dish is good for sharing as it would become quite ājerlatā after a while.
found the broth way too salty for our liking.
