As we usually order the same dishes, we know that their price was much cheaper!! $17 as compared to $25ish for our usual order - pork, lucheon meat, sausage, magiee and etc 🤡 The flavour was more salty than usual (but still within my acceptable range 🤡) Their xiao la was just nice for me!

Croque Madame, $21
In buddy's limited vocab he calls this dish "sexy" - sooooo sexy 🤪 Ham & Cheese kiap between 2 slices of Brioche with Egg and Tomato Hollanaise drizzled all over~ Fries on the side were good - thin & crispy. Salad was fresh and drenched in balsamic vinegar (if I'm not wrong). This is Brunch material FOR SURE!!

Seared Prawn Mentaiko Pasta, $23
Slightly disappointed as we could not taste the Mentaiko flavour in this dish. However, we still agreed that this was a good plate of pasta~

Second visit to 888 this month - platters for 2 ($26) and 4($45) are priced very affordably. Both trips, we added ala cart dishes because we want more variety 🤫 I especially like their garlic marinated meats 🤤 They have branches around Singapore, it's definitely worth a visit when you on a budget and want to eat M O O K A T A!

What's inside this cuppa is a shot of Espresso and Cinnamon. The combination sounded weird to me but i decided to press on because it was a drink for buddy 😂 I've already chosen my to-go Coffee, Mocha ($5.50) then. No regrets though, because i turn out to like Dirty Chai and we switched our Coffee! How i would describe the Coffee - Speculous flavoured Coffee.

This time i chose their Tau Huey ice-cream to go with the Chocolate molten Cookie. No doubt, that was S W E E T N E S S overload but i.l.o.v.e.i.t! I ordered their Omurice Set with Double Large Breaded Shrimp Plate ($21.90). Beneath their SILKY s m o o t h omu is fried rice with a side of Tomato sauce. Bread Shrimp was HUGE - it was crispy and f r e s h!
Definitely worth a visit, especially so if you love Beef. Their menu is almost 80% Beef! Non-Beef eater fret not, because we still have Omurice, Cutlets and more to feast on. Reccomended to make a reservation as on the day we visited (weekday, night), they were full house!

Éclairs, from $8

These beautiful éclairs~ Not sure how to review them since there's nothing of sorts I had before. To describe in Jean's term - it's like a cream puff (in a different shape) with more complex and intense flavours~
