LOOK at this huge serving - a big piece of Fish, large size Fries, fruit salad on the side and a tub of homemade tartar sauce (which buddy spread it on the fish like how he spreads jam on bread). It tastes good, better than average i would say. That tub of sauce made a difference! The fruit salad on the same was refreshing (esp those watermelon cubes that removes the grease).⁣⁣

Soft-Shell Crab Pasta, $19⁣⁣
That Soft-Shell Crab was deep fried to perfection 💯 It was so freakin' CRISPY!!! Pasta was drenched in a Chilli Crab kinda sauce - it was sweet and just slightly spicy. I liked it!⁣⁣

Laksa Mania, $16.90
Unfortunately, the Laksa flavour was not distinct. It tasted very bland to me~ The best part of this dish would be that the Prawns are deshelled!

Sambal Fish & Chip, $16.90
Again, the Sambal flavour was not distinct. The fish was salty on its own and that overpowered the already bland Sambal flavours~ The fries accompanying was damn good though - it was very crunchy!

Spaghetti with Scallops, Prawns and Clams cooked in aglio olio style~~ There's also cream (we tried & loved it) and tomato style if you prefer other alternatives!

Smooy has been our favourite yogurt shop for awhile now! We were soo delighted when we saw that Smooy at PLQ is on BB!!! Buddy likes their ice cream (vanilla) while I prefer their yogurt (original) over ice cream. Our mini was drenched with C O O K I E sauce~ If you've yet to jump onto the cookie sauce bandwagon, come join me. You are welcome.

Chicken Skin, $3.50

The chicken skins was flavourful (and salty) - exactly how the skin of their original chicken taste like. If it was crisper, it would have been perfect~

Korean style fried chicken with yangnyeom sauce, $23.50

Their fried chicken with yangnyeom sauce wow-ed us with it's serving size - we were served 4 B I G pieces of Chicken. Buddy was soooo happy about it (he judge each dishes by their size 😂). Tastewise, glad that it did not disappoint - Chicken was served crispy (& hot) and the sauce was bomb af with its spicy and sweet flavours!

Barbecue pork ribs, $24.50

Their barbecue pork ribs came with pork ribs (duh!), salad greens, barbecue sauce, mashed potatoes and fries. Pork ribs was tender but I would liked it more if it was more tender; and flavourful (barbecue sauce was on point). Not sure how they mashed their potatoes but I loved it - it melts in your mouth (I only gave buddy a spoon of it and the rest was m i n e). Fries were crisp and thic' - yum!

Not too oily and with a kick of spice. Mains here are priced affordably - mostly below $10.

Spaghetti was cooked al dente - firm and chewy. The dish was served in a bag and i like how we are opening it like there's a surprise! *S U R P R I S E, we scored a perfect plate of Spaghetti.* On service, we were handed a wrong drink (ice lemon tea instead of watermelon juice) and a wrong food (tomato instead of cream based marinara) before being served the correct item. It did frustrate us a little bit but it was forgivable given the quality of food served!

We will definitely BE BACK!

Does it taste like DTF's version? Unfortunately, no. DTF must have their own secret receipe that is not easy to replicate; and especially difficult since the pricetag here is just a fraction of the original. It was still a good plate of Fried Rice nonetheless! Pork Ribs were the star of the show with how tender and flavourful it was.
Dumplings were okay. There was another version that was fancier looking. We only realized after seeing that version on other people's table.

This is the kind of dish where you either like it or hate it, no in between because of the unqiue flavour. I'm not a fan of alcohol being in my food so it's a 🙅‍♀️ from me. They are famed for their crystal beehoon which had a crispier texture than regular Beehoon. Lots of clams, squid and prawns in this bowl. If you are up for Alcohol in your meals, I'm pretty sure you'll love the broth here.

Pearls were not the best as well.. it was quite hard. Unfortunately, not worth the hype.
