Barbecue pork ribs, $24.50

Their barbecue pork ribs came with pork ribs (duh!), salad greens, barbecue sauce, mashed potatoes and fries. Pork ribs was tender but I would liked it more if it was more tender; and flavourful (barbecue sauce was on point). Not sure how they mashed their potatoes but I loved it - it melts in your mouth (I only gave buddy a spoon of it and the rest was m i n e). Fries were crisp and thic' - yum!

I enjoyed the Squid Skewers the most - it was fried till gold and crisps. Otah Toasties was something new to me - crispy bread with Otah that was so freakin' spicy! Their Signature Wings was tastes/marinated like Har Cheong. Sausages tastes like Sausages. Fish Cracklings are fries Fish Skin, yums. Fries were my second favourite.
Overall, this is a platter that won't go wrong since you get a sample of snacks to go with your choice of alcohol. We had Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc ($15, full pint) and Harry's Lemonade ($10) to go with Harry's 7 🍻

We had a very underwhelming dinner here. Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta was average tasting, their spicy oriental sauce was not spicy and taste kinda like bbq sauce. Their Aglio Olio was basically salt noodles. Four Seasons had 4 different flavours in one pizza. The Roasted Garlic and Shrimp flavour was probably the best among all. The wings was crispy but drenched in oil. The drinks were unique i would say. I enjoyed my ElderFlower Soda which was sourish and refreshing! One perk here is that there is no gst and service charge. Total damage was around $63. 😐

Wanted to use my Burpple Beyond membership to get 1 for 1 pasta/pizza but was told that we couldn't because it was during peak hours (we visited at around 8). My membership was for all day though. 🤔

Average western food at a very affordable price! Value for money but honestly not very value for the tummy.

The soba was flavourful on its own. The chicken was tender and succulent and my only dislike was the Chicken's skin being too charred to my liking. The side dishes on the side was interesting especially the marinated cucumber (with wasabi?)! If it was refillable i would have got more servings of it. 😋 The other was miso tofu which taste great too. Fries are coated with generous amount of mayo and cheese (i asked to seprate cheese) and topped with pork (texture felt somewhat like lucheon meat and otah). Portion of fries was huge. It satisfied my carbs craving for the day! 🤭

It was only $9.45/pax after the discount. 🤭

They do not have a huge selection of toppings available but they do have most of the ingredients you usually have with your pizza (eg. ham/prawns/mushrooms). It was definitely a pleasant experience to diy and bake your own pizza on the table! Apart from having pizzas, they also serve free flow spaghetti and drinks.

My favourite pizza would be the dessert pizza where you squeeze nutella on to the crust and top it with strawberries, oreos and more chocolate! 😋

Kae was happy to satisfy his laksa and spaghetti cravings in this dish. We also enjoyed how the chicken was fries to crips and drenched in Laksa sauce.

The combination of spicy chicken chunks, chilli sauce, red chillies and green and red peppers really punches our tastebuds. The crust of the pizza was quite hard and it was lukewarm when it was served. The chicken lagsana on the other hand was piping hot when served. Apart from its small portion, we enjoyed it!

It was a good combination but may be too salty to those who prefer light flavours. An abundance of fries were given so sharing is highly reccomended! Those spicy hot drumlets were on point too. Not only were the skin spicy, even the meat was marinated very well with spicy flavours.

Overall, we feel that the quality of food in The Burger Bar was great but the favouring tend to be on the saltier side. Food portion (burger/sides) here are HUGE. We ended up having to bring home some fries and wings because we can no longer stuff ourselves and this happened for the FIRST time. 🤣
