They got crispy waffle and it was a nice place for desserts. Ice cream is not bad too, 2nd time here 🍦🍧🍨🥺

I think the food and beverage is ordinary but the ambience and cafe vibes that this places give is amazing. Especially since we could take a hike on fort canning's part after a brunch indulgence. Would come here again just for the ambience ✨

Roasted roots vegetable carousel with melted mozzarella and minced lamb!! The description might sound very simple but it's a very flavorful and guilt-free dish. I really love this although it might be better if the mozzarella was a little bit oven baked

Roasted Eggplant puree with yoghurt, spices and herbs topped with chicken stew. What a good dish!! So colorful and flavourful!!

It is so good I urge everyone to go give it a try. This old school Hainanese western place is dimly lit with old yellow lamps has been around since the 70s. My granddad, bro, dad and I love this dish for its gamey smell and savoury thick sauce and it's so well seasoned!!

Would come here again just for the lamb chop and chicken pie 🥺🥺

Drop by and buy their chicken pie you won't regret it. It's a messy and sloppy dish with the thickest chicken pie filling I have ever tasted. Pretty sure the thickness is from potato bcos it was so silky and smooth. Think a blob of chicken filling with a thin pastry!! What a good comfort food 😭❤️

To be honest, this place needs no reviews bcos there was a constant turnover. But I feel like young people needs to know what their missing out here!

Drenched with black pepper sauce and topped with fried garlic, oyster mushroom and a sunny side up, this dish was served with rice.

While the texture of the ribeye was perfect, the sauce was a sze char sauce 😭😭 the menu did label that it was 'asian' but I didn't expect to be... So Asian. This price is much better spent on their tiger prawn, sakura ebi capellini in my opinion.

I also ordered their mushroom rugout ($12) (just nope 😭). It wasn't even the earthy notes of the mushroom but there was a bitter aftertaste and the gruyère topped on it did not make much difference to the dish.

Nested on some roasted root vegetables, potato mousseline with a red wine jus, this beef cheeks is braised to PERFECTION! 💯
The cheeks were so tender and tasty but the dish started to feel cloyingly rich after awhile with no 'punch' to it. Better to share this dish!

I know a place that serves better braised beef cheeks (check Burp affairs cafe edition) and they countered the cloyingly rich aftertaste by sprinkling the dish with salt!

It was a good dish!! It's an olive oil coating that is addictive and has my Mum raving about even after a day. Nothing too fancy but it's very flavourful.

Duck leg confit on orange carrot mousse and carrot terragon foam ($26) It's a fancy dish but in my honest opinion, the orange carrot mousse masked the taste of the duck confit unless you like the combination of orange and carrot. The texture of the duck leg however was amazing!!

The 1-for-1. The ambience is great. Scrumptious Sunday brunch in the CBD area. But the plate is technically just made of very simple items. Can try it with burrple 1-for-1 but otherwise, $23 is a little bit pricey. Tried the Chai latte ($6.50) but the taste of milk is too overpowering and there is too little chai.
