The plating of the fish was already a feast for the eyes. Adorned with pico de gallo salsa and cherry tomatoes, the sauce was really savory. And the fish was really fresh and well-cooked. It wasn’t dry at all!!! We finished the entire fish - a testament to the quality of the fish.

Definitely good to order when eating w friends or family, and super reasonably priced for such a good piece of fish!!!

Oh boy the chicken was really succulent and tender. The chicken was really tasty especially the skin!!! It was so fragrant and had a yuzu glaze to them. (How I wish the whole chicken was marinated with yuzu!!!)

I really enjoyed the roasted baby potatoes and vegetables at the side too. Simple yet refreshing! Would come back for the chicken definitely!

The sauce was really fragrant and garlicky, with hints of seafood essence. The pasta were al dente, but wished it was a little firmer. The seafood were fresh. A decent amount was given. Overall a decent, no-frills plate of pasta.

The huge chunks of pulled pork got me really excited to try this burger. The pulled pork was tender and juicy with marinate. The coleslaw provides a refreshing respite and complemented the savory pulled pork. The bun was also toasted and soft. Fries were seasoned with truffles, which was really rare since most burgers are paired with our normal fries.

Overall a good burger and would order this when I revisit.

The plating of this dish was like an art piece. Two different colors separated by a huge juicy chunk of salmon. It even came with some flower petals. Efforts for the design!!

The salmon was cooked well done - soft and succulent. The sauce was complemented with the tasty miso sauce, and creamy bouillabaisse foam. The three elements came well together - both in terms of taste and texture. It was a really interesting texture with the foam - it’s as though I’m eating a piece of cake with the cream and cake texture!!!

Would recommend salmon-lovers to try it! Definitely a different experience.

The plethora of ingredients caught my attention! Obviously not skimpy. The presence of garnishes - fried onions, ikan bilis, peanuts and chilli oil really introduces a myriad of textures. The noodles were also generously tossed with black sauce. The fried beancurd skin was super good and fragrant! But wished it was abit more crispy. Overall a satisfying meal and would gladly return to Queenstown for this frills-free and homely bowl of noodles!!!

The plating first caught my eye - a quintessential Japanese style, so simple and neat!

The crackling of the chicken was deafening. The chicken was really crispy, juicy and really fried to perfection. The curry sauce was also fragrant and packed with curry flavors. It had some bits of onions and carrots (wished there were more of them!)

Would recommend if you’re craving for good curry rice at affordable prices.

Easily my favourite chicken rice in SG - for several good reasons.

First, the free flow achar. It’s slightly lighter compared to ones I frequent, but it’s just a light touch of tang to cut through the flavors of the chicken rice. It was a refreshing treat and also a chance to reset my taste buds to retaste the chicken rice and be awed by it all over it like I first tried it.

Second, the soup. I would willingly just come here for the soup. I think mine was peppery chicken soup. It was intensely flavourful with chicken goodness, and YES with chunks of chicken and cabbage as well. It was really a true-blue boiled soup and definitely NOT those msg-packed soup that gets you thirsty.

THIRD, the chicken, oh boy they were really succulent. The skin was gelatin-like and super satisfying. The meat was tender and soaked with the sauce. And the sauce!!! It’s just so addictive and tasty and yet not too salty at the same time. Love me some drizzle of the sauce w the ginger and chilli and dark sauce on my rice. And also, the chicken is drizzled with mini garlic bits which introduces an extra crunch and fragrance to the chicken. It’s the only place that I’ve been to that offers this unique garlic garnish!

LASTLY, the rice. We knew we’re in for the good treat when we eyed the rich yellow rice. It was super fragrant and yet not too oily and salty. I would gladly just eat one bowl of rice on its own because it’s that good.

If this doesn’t get you packing your bags to try this chicken rice, I don’t know what will.

Delightful piece of cake!!!!!! It was really good and much better than famous cake shops that we know of.

The cake was soft and airy. The chocolate was the right balance of sweetness and bitterness. The cream was just the right amount to introduce a slight touch of creaminess to the cake. My only gripe was that I wish there were some chocolatey bits in the cream to add an extra crunch to it. But overall love this piece of cake!

The aroma of pork lard, green onions and the broth of the porridge blew us away!

Every spoonful of the porridge was an adventure for our taste buds - first, the crunch of the pork lard, then the flavour explosion of the pork lard and garnishes and the porridge itself. The porridge is reminiscent of glutinous rice, it’s thick but yet not too overwhelmingly thick to the extent that you’ll get sick of it that easily.

Definitely a new experience and will be back for more! And to try the beehoon and KL mee

The tiger prawns were the first thing that caught my attention - they were really huge!

Pasta was al dente, and had a nice bite to them. The dish was fragrant and had a fair amount of garlic. It wasn’t too oily either. However, slightly too peppery for an aglio olio. Overall a good plate of aglio olio. Plus, super worth it w one-for-one.

One of my favourite coffee places in SG. The fragrance of coffee beans wafted through the minimalist, white storefront. I had this years ago at their Osaka outlet, which was hands down the best coffee I had (and also props to the beautiful river before the store)

The latte was smooth. Coffee was bitter — but the right amount of bitterness that doesn’t take away the aroma of the coffee. It was a perfect balance of taste. The milk perfectly complemented the acidic nature of the coffee.

Would probably be a regular customer here if not for the steep price. But worth a treat once in a while!
