The food here may not be fancy, but it's clearly prepared with heart. Start off with the Suyuk Boiled Pork Belly served with vegetables and sauces, you'll be taught how to eat it 3 different ways. Also go for the Dakgalbi, spicy marinated chicken with vegetables and Korean rice cakes. Don't polish off all the dakgalbi! Leave some and request for the leftovers to be fried with rice for an additional charge, it's worth it. Because of limited seating, be sure to make reservations!
Vanilla bourbon ice cream, milk chocolate truffle, caramelised rice crispies & bananas
Great taste in salted caramel and tim tam chunks found in horlicks tim tam! Waffle also has fragrance of eggs! Nice combination along with the chocolate fudge!

From Savis Food, a new Western stall at Golden Mile Food Centre that was opened since about a month ago. It's known for serving customized pastas but a sizable amount of patrons also ordered this while I was there. Coming with a side of truffle fries and sautéed vegetables, only wished for the truffle fries to be stronger as the aroma of truffle seems non-existent. The vegetables came with a hint of garlic, which have the broccoli and carrots a bit of punch in flavour. Chicken was juicy, tender and the skin was crispy, without being overly greasy. All in all it's not too shabby, but there's some work to do for the truffle fries.
Waffle at such an affordable price
I feel so bad because i love Dutch Colony at Pasarbella and i make it a point to get my cup of joe from them whenever i'm there, but the coffee at their second outlet, as much as i love the location, is awful. My latté came with absolutely no foam nor did it taste of espresso and my sister's capp had a bitingly sour and cardboard-y taste. I hope they sort out (what i hope are) their teething issues soon.
Haven't had a pork chop god knows for how long (oops actually just had a few in Macau recently), but this one at Spathe is a real gem. The kurobuta has the right amount of fats which keeps it juicy. The dauphinois potato (stack of thinly sliced potato) was so well executed, it reminded me of the one I had in Paris! Magnifique!
Had a refreshed weekend with Jamaica Blue's house blend. If you prefer something light and less bold, a place to consider for coffee ☕️
