Finally got my hands on Matcha Shuu Choux puffs by @koki.tamagoyaki!❤️

The pastry was perfectly crisp and caramelized, with an AVALANCHE of velvety Matcha custard overflowing with every bite. I've to say that the puffs are HUGE! I was really surprised at how heavy the puff felt when I collected it! $4.30 is steep for takeaways but the quality is really good.

These exquisite masterpieces were two crunchy sesame miso cones served in their very own ship. It is filled with fresh tuna poke marinated in spicy wasabi, ginger, soy sauce, splash of citrus and other garnishes such as bonito and scallions.

It is a lot of money to pay for bite sized cones but I must say that the taste was to die for. This turned out to be my favourite dish! Big love to @blueskiescottonclouds for the recommendation! 😍

Affordable Putien food. Simple and delicious. Fav dish is stir-fried spinach. But don't expect the standards of the food to match up to Michelin starred Putien.

A surprise stand-out dish was the Spinach with golden mushroom in Supreme Stock. This dish can be found in many tze char establishment, but its common appearance belies something quite special.

The light yet flavorful stock, smoky aroma of fried whole garlic cloves and the crunchiness of the golden mushroom makes everything taste yummy and refreshing.

It’s not a new flavor combination to my palate, but believe me when I say emphatically it is excellently executed.

Heng hua style bee hoon ($4.50) is simple, authentic and tasty. However, it is not as flavorful as the famous Putien.The beehoon was similarly good. The emphasis here is on the unique melt-in-your-mouth texture of the super fine strands of bee hoon that are similar to Pu Tien's.

I must say, I’m quite impressed with the authenticity of this dish given the price we're paying. 3.5/5

Visited this place tahe fourth time today and ordered the Classico, Pistachio, Matcha and Earl Grey Lavender.

My favourite is Classico (slice $6.80/pc) which is a gorgeous creamy goodness. This is an authentic Italian tiramisu with mascarpone that's smooth and light, adorned with sprinklings of cocoa powder and chocolate flakes was a delight. The moist sponge fingers soaked with coffee and pleasant Khalua makes this dessert a delight.

In comparison, the rest of the tiramisu flavors are disappointing. The Pistachio Tiramisu has does not have fragrant nutty aroma and have weird metallic taste. Matcha Tiramisu looks elegant but did not did not have the distinct Matcha taste.

The Earl Grey infused with Lavender cake is moist, fragrant, refreshing and full of flavors! This newly added flavor is definitely the best after the Classico.

Cupping Profile

Another coffee that becomes my new favourite. Ordered the Latte ($5) at The Bakery by Woodlands Sourdough and was pleasantly delighted by the coffee! Using Cata coffee beans, a new local roastery, the cupping profile is bright, complex and distinctive coffee, medium bodied with pronounced citrus acidity balanced by sweet caramel and toffee notes. In the finish notes of hazelnut and milk chocolate.

This coffee is silky and crowd-pleaser among caffeine lovers!

Tiramisu in a cup.

Buon appetito.Tiramisu means “pick me up” in Italian. Not overly sweet, pleasant coffee flavored, lovely smooth mascarpone cream. The Khalua is lacking though.

This eatery in Geylang ranked number five on our Hot 100 (Hawker Edition) 2016 opens till 3am daily, making it the perfect place for a late dinner with your colleagues. Its always crowded, so be prepared to wait in line. Portions are big and great for sharing, like the signature JB San Lou Bee Hoon (from $7 for small). Despite its lackluster appearance, the bee hoon is expertly fried and flattened, resulting in a 'pancake' of silky soft vermicelli with perfectly charred bits on either sides — simple but so good! They also do wicked Salted Egg Prawn Balls (from $20 for small), Fried Garlic Chilli Clams (from $16 for small) and White Pepper Crabs (market price) slicked in an unusual garlicky white pepper sauce that allows the natural sweetness of the crabs to shine through.

Pan-fried Chilean Sea Bass is hands down the WINNER of VENUE bySebastian!

This outstanding dish sea-riously tastes so good you don't need any overpowering complimentary sauces! The Sea Bass fillet is nicely golden browned on the outside, moist and flaky inside! I will come back for this again!

Saw Veronica's recommendation on Burpple and knew we had to get this. NO. REGRETS. 😂

Ridiculously smooth, you'd wonder how it's possible that it's potato in there. Coupled with a good amount of those corn kernels and the ultra light, crisp shell, it gave this inconspicuous side dish a really awesome texture and bite.
