Sardine Dipping Ramen Was introduced by friend for this restaurant for their Tsukemen which is ramen dipped with sardine broth. In my opinion, is just normal which instead of cold soba with soyu, this is cooked ramen with with sardine broth. Tastewise is nothing special. Wouldn't queue up for it

Yummy Cantonese congee Mui Kee is a culinary gem that specializes in Cantonese porridge. While their porridge dishes are undoubtedly the stars of the show, their claypot creations are equally impressive. The porridge itself is a work of art. It's smooth, creamy, and flavorful, with a delicate balance of savory and subtle sweetness. I particularly enjoyed the century egg porridge, which was incredibly comforting and satisfying. The century egg added a unique depth of flavor that complemented the porridge perfectly. We did try the claypot frog leg and claypot beef brisket, both of which were absolutely delicious. The frog legs were cooked to perfection, with the meat tender and juicy. The sauce was a savory blend of spices that complemented the frog legs perfectly. The claypot beef brisket was also excellent, with the beef soft and tender. The sauce was rich and flavorful, with a hint of sweetness.

Fresh & quality seafood at decent price point This place is a hidden gem on the second floor of international building . We did e sushi buffet n left the selection to the chef who fed us a wide selection of amazing sushi . We had seconds of what each of us loved , cod , swordfish , yellowtail , scallop. Omakase Sushi Buffet Value for $ as u will be served a variety of sushi.We leave it to the chef to decide on the sushi. Just that the pacing of the sushi is a bit off at times. The first sushi is aburi then the lighter flavored sushi at the end. It appears that the chef seemed to give cheaper version of sushi first and by the time We are too full for the higher end sushi. Overall, we will still visit the place as we find the sushi is pretty decent and it is a good place to address sushi craving.

Sushi Kanazawa 4⭐ Get to know this sushi restaurant from Ricecookerman IG and I saw photo of celebrities visiting this restaurant. Made reservation for their weekday lunch buffet $31.90++ as the restaurant can only accommodate ~ 10 diners. They turn away quite a few diners who walk in as it was fully reserved for lunch today. At first we ate the sushi which the chef prepared but towards the end when we are extremely full, we ordered those which we wanted to eat. I ate a total of 17 sushi ranging from the more common ones such as salmon, maguro, tako, hamachi to the less common ones such as arkshell, surf clam, white tuna, flying fish, gizzard shad. Char Siew & Roast Meat Rice A busy stall whose food can be erratic. You'll get a good but not great meal.

One Pax Char Siew, Roast Duck, Shao Rou 9nett Roast duck was q flavourful, above average but skin wasn't crispy and slightly dry too Sio bak had a good biscuity skin but slightly hard, and rather lean and dry inside too. Char siew is probably their best item here, well caramelised on the exterior with a lot of smokiness, and a honey glaze. Lean but still quite tender Their chili is very unique, an amalgation of all the 5 tastes, and with a lot of subtle complexity. I won't be surprised if they had some secret ingredients inside, that most won't even think of

Great zichar in the area Among the many high end restaurants and bars located around the area, lies this inconspicuous zi char restaurant that was really pretty decent, while being relatively affordable! Their Fish Meat Soup ($20 for medium) is one worth commenting on. The soup itself is light, not multidimensional but still decent. What's good is their fish chunks which were huge and fresh! Many pieces were given as well. Love how meaty and flaky the pieces were! Their Yang Zhou Fried Rice ($15 for medium) came generous and I loved how fluffy the rice was. This has loads of wok hei and charred bits which flavoured the rice well. The Claypot Bringal with Minced Pork ($18 for medium) was also another dish we liked. Loved how the dish had so much umami flavours and that the bringal was really soft! Best paired with rice. Prawn Paste Chicken ($15 for medium) was unexpectedly good. Honestly, the colour of the fry was pale and we didn't expect it to be delicious. However, the outer crust was so crispy, and so full of umami flavours! The chicken was well marinated, as the seasoning penetrated the chicken well. Darn addictive! The Poached Chinese Spinach ($21) is a good vegetable option, as it not only came with salted egg and century egg, it came with flowy poached eggs too 😍 Flavourful but not too salty, this is a good break from all the rich meat dishes. I wouldn't say that the dishes were particularly mind-blowing, but they were definitely comforting. A zi char restaurant I will come back again for!

'Kam Heong' Chicken Kam heong chicken is a Malaysian Chinese dish packed with so many flavours. The sauce creates a very complex flavour of spiciness, sourness, sweetness and brilliantly savouriness in this dish. This is ideal to go along with rice and the chicken is tender, well marinated and chopstick-licking good 》$10/small

Big Prawn Hor Fun This is definitely the star on the entire menu. Hor fun drenched in thick gooey seafood gravy bursting with umami along with hints of spiciness. The big prawns were fresh and the portion was good with the right amount of wok-hei. It's legit good! 👍 》$19/small

The set also includes a pair of katsu sets, each consisting of 100% Uonuma Koshihikari Rice, Miso Soup, Chawanmushi, Chilled Cabbage, Sesame, Pickles, and Ice Cream. Plus, there are free refills for rice, miso soup, and cabbage. Pork loin was overall juicy, tender, not too oily, had a thick layer of white fats, and had a nice crispy breaded crumb exterior. If tonkatsu sauce is not your favourite, there is still tartar sauce and radish ponzu dipping. Crab cream croquette was creamy and piping hot, exploding with flavour when you bite into it. Apple galette The apple was nicely cooked down with sufficient softness and tasted tart. The ice cream was soft and decadent too. Overall the best dish of the night! The corse sugar and cinnamon was the icing on the cake. Wine selection at this restaurant was good too!

Beef with onion pie The beef was over cooked and lacked flavours. If you are expecting melt in your mouth steak, this is not it. The leaks were undercooked so were the onion on the pie. For $90, you can definitely get better beef else where.
