Matcha Lava Cookie Set Matcha Lava Cookie Set w (Milk Cereal) Ice Cream ($11.80) Finally tried their ice cream after a long time. I knew that lava cookie was a really a "trend" during period when I was studying that time. I hope that I would be trying it out someday but I really make it during my off day. I ask their staff that what's ice cream to pair well with matcha lava set. It's milk cereal but tbh I don't like it because its not much taste (quite plain) inside the ice cream as it's quite milky and creamy. Btw their speciality flavour is blue chai hokkaido milk but I don't really fancy it tbh. I really like their matcha lava cookie set but it's not dry aftertaste and also crispy and crunchy when it's served in hot.

Molten chocolate cookie and blue hokkaido chai ice cream (SGD 11) The molten cookie takes 10 mins to prepare but it's worth it! The ice cream looked interesting but felt underwhelming, was overpowered by the cookie. Would be good on its own!

Babyccino 🥛Babyccino ($4++) The cheapest drink available on the menu and my friend got it because getting a drink was compulsory… it’s literally just foamed milk in a shot glass. Cute but insanely overpriced😩

Matcha & Sea Salt Chocolate 🍵 Matcha ($7.50++) This is really good, strong matcha taste and a fragrant milkiness to it! Not too sweet either. However the price is really steep. 🍫 Sea Salt Chocolate ($7.50++) When they name this sea salt chocolate, they mean it. Its like a chocolate drink but its liberally salted, not too salty but it may be a little acquired for some.

I really liked the crunchy granola bits too! A pretty solid waffle and its quite decently priced compared to their other menu items.

Very good halal buffet Located in Grand Hyatt, the quality of this buffet does not disappoint. Every station served incredible tasting items, and the desserts were on point. The range of food available was really good for a hi-tea session. I thought the timing given was too short though. But it can be addressed by being early for the dining session. Highly recommend!

Gr8 Tandoori Mushroom & Kueh Visited Straits Kitchen for their lunch buffet and had a great mix of regional dishes. Got a dish from every counter including otak-otak (slightly spicy), seafood carrot cake, garlic naan, tandoori chicken, battered barramundi. Of course we couldn't resist getting a whole box of kueh-kueh too 😋 including goreng pisang, kueh lapis sagu and ondeh-ondeh. 🌟 of the show: Definitely the tandoori mushroom!! It was sooo delicious and we actually preferred it to the chicken because the juice from the mushroom helped to bring out the flavour even more. (Special mention to the goreng pisang too) Lobang: hahaha not sponsored but we got this at $12 because we used the treatsure app. It operates with many hotel buffet partners to tackle food waste. So 45 mins before the buffet ends, you can walk in and purchase a takeaway box for $12 (~$9-12 depending on which hotel you go), and the chef will guide you with recommendations as you pick what you like. Generally, you can't take food from the live stations/ fresh seafood but most other things can!!! Can just search "treatsure" to find out more on their website. Don't say I never say HAHAHA

Goodnight sweet prince The beloved dessert bar will be closing this Sunday after years of ingenuity, with their local dishes-inspired desserts being particularly memorable. - Their creations have an uncanny familiarity to them, like this Nasi Lemak ($14.90) which found the right blend of sweetness and savouriness as well as familiar textures, which worked in the context of a dessert. Particularly loved the coconut "rice", which hid a mother lode of pandan mousse — intoxicatingly fragrant.

Lava Molten Cake Chocolate Lava Cake (~$13.90) took awhile to be served, but when it came, I was so eager to eat it 😛 (hence the mediocre photos). Upon slicing the thick dark chocolate cake, warm chocolate fudge flowed nicely to coat the vanilla ice cream below 🍰 Vanilla ice cream was orange infused, which went well with the chocolate, especially since the orange taste was quite obvious 🍦 . Crumbles and Almond Nougat did a good job in adding texture to this lava dessert especially since the cake and the ice cream was soft 🤩 However thought the ice cream could be more bc the cake was quite overwhelming! Nasi Lemak ($14.90) Their version of Nasi Lemak really amazed me by the impeccable presentation and how they managed to recreate the flavours of nasi lemak in dessert form. The most amazing element is their sambal jam, which tasted like the real flavours of sambal! Just a heads up, give them one last try if you like as they’ll be closing before the end of the month!

Le Royale I love chocolate and hazelnut! I am a sucker for anything chocolate, hazelnut and that mixture of cake and crunchy layer of praline/feuilletine/biscuit. Le Royale was dense and moist. I think it’s not too sweet because it contains 64% dark chocolate mousse. Hence, it’s suitably sweet. There’s supposedly dark rum in it but I can’t exactly taste it. I like it that it’s soft, rich and very chocolatey. And I really love the layers of contrast between the mousse, genoise and feuilletine! However, I think it would be better if it’s slightly moister. Gonna miss their cake so much!

Charlotte IV This dainty dessert consists of an inner layer of cassis strawberry jelly and strawberry creameux, lying on a layer of finger sponge and nestled within a white chocolate violet flower mousse. It tastes pretty light with a slight tinge of sourness. A pity that the almond crumble was too soft hence lacking the crunchy texture. I am a sucker for dessert, especially dessert that’s not only pleasing to the palate, but also a feast for the eyes. @antoinette_sg is like a dessert heaven. It’s sad to hear that they are ceasing operations soon.

Thunder Tea Rice Or “Lei Cha” For Takeaway. Singaporean Chef Pang Kok Keong of @antoinette_sg and @hakkapang has an assortment of Hakka specialties for takeaway and delivery now. This Thunder Tea Rice or 擂茶饭 included. I have always been a fan of this healthy Hakka dish so it’s lovely to try Chef Pang’s version which features brown rice topped with more than just the usual. He also throws on unconventional ingredients such as crisp wing beans and soft-cooked kidney beans - the latter adds a hint of sweetness to the dish which works nicely. The fresh herb paste which is more flavourful then others I’ve had, is packed separately so you just have to pour in hot water before eating. At $7 per portion, I think this makes for a healthy, tasty and value-for-money meal. Ideal to send as a #mytreatsg to family or friends too. Sparkling Yuzu Pie Windowsill Pies was located at the back of the Upper Thomson Road, which might not be in the best location for people to notice, but their Sparkling Yuzu Pie (S$8.00) was definitely noticeable. Similar to a key lime pie, this one had got a tangy curd but with a taste of yuzu, which carried this sweeter aftertaste. The surface of the curd was glazed with a layer of sweet Ume (plum) gel which might not be as noticeable as the yellow curd. And for those who wanted a sweet finish, aim for those white chocolate dallops at the top. It was quite a fun pie to have too, because it gave out a light fizzy sensation from sparkling candies sprinkled on top. As a personal preference, I thought that the crust could be more crumbly rather than flaky, but it was still a nice dessert to a good dinner.

I sPIES my little eyes on PIES. Coconut Lime Vodka and Pineapple Passionfruit Yogurt flavs. The coconut lime curd was smooth and well balanced between sweet and sour while the pineapple curd was more gritty with pineapple pulp and passionfruit glaze. The homemade granola white choc was a nice addition!

Lobster bisque 27++ Not authentic by any means but lovely. It's not super thick as it should be, both in terms of flavour and texture but I really, really enjoyed this version. The soup was robust yet light enough to keep drinking, and the portion was just right for one pax too. Rouille wasn't traditional either I believe, it added a different dimension but I was abit more indifferent about this. It's certainly not terrible but it doesn't gel w the soup, luckily literally as well so it doesn't disturb the remaining volume. The tarragon added a fresh mild zest to the soup. Pretty pricey but justified by the well cooked bouncy lobsters that were mildly sweet and umami. Overall it's a good dish by itself, it's everything else that's abit uncomfortable

Buckwheat sourdough(complimentary) Terrible. It's so hard and way too difficult to bite through. Wasn't a pleasant experience. From the booking which they are fastidious about, to the cancellation fee even if you have covid or are sick, and finally the manager I think whose words were hard to catch.

I think the serving size from my previous visit was much more generous 😤 and less drier.. but it’s a comforting thought that the waitress asks for feedback when checking bill. Maybe next visit will be better!

Another Outlet At Wisteria Mall! 🌟pork belly (Spain) don $12.9: I love their description of "less than 1mm thick slice of pork belly". Everything went so well together with the mushroom, onsen egg and sauce. My only gripe is the pork belly is too fatty for me (I prefer less fatty meats!) 🌟 Truffle pot pie $13.9: we were WOW-ed by this when it was served as the portion looked quite big. However, the truffle seems to be just truffle oil poured on top of the cream sauce. Lol dining companion didn't mix the sauce when eating, so I could barely taste much truffle taste afterwards hahaha. The filling was v thinly sliced chicken meat, with some potato, celery, carrots and green peas (that I didn't like eating haha). Will prefer more potato and more chicken meat to be in it 🙊 the pot pie puff pastry was crispy though! Do expect a 20mins wait for this dish! No GST and service charge here

Small Warm Cafe With Great Food! Usually in cafes, there are hits and misses, but I have to say, I’m pretty happy with the food I had here! Would highly recommend the beef cheeks and Kurobuta Pork Chop (dinner menu)! It’s a small cafe, so remember to reserve before coming:)

Nice Place, Decent Food It’s a small place but the food and pricing are all decent, worth going. I had the chicken thigh, it’s good, enjoyed it! Service is good, will go there again!
