I fell in love with the great mischief even before they relocated to the national gallery, but I must say the vibe in the national gallery is much more vibrant.

As always, the food did not disappoint, especially their tocino pasta, which is similar to carbonara. I always enjoy how the raw yolk blends into my cheesy pasta. Their battered pargo, commonly known as fish & chips, is exceptional. Unlike the typical thick layer of batter with very little flesh, theirs is the opposite.

The Great Mischief offers truly authentic Spanish dishes, such as the seafood paella, which is a sharing portion. I tried it at their previous location and still love it to this day.

Despite being a steakhouse, I still miss their bread ๐Ÿ™‚

IMO, Wooloo Mooloo serves the best bread that Iโ€™ve ever had; it has fried scallions and sea salt on it! But, of course, why come to a steakhouse if Iโ€™m not here to eat their steak?

The steak tastes good, but what is lacking are some sides, and you have to top up for them, which makes the plate look plain. It only has a few salad vegetables placed on it with the steak.

Overall, it was a good experience, but I think it would be more worth it to visit during lunch hour as they have some lunch promotions.

We celebrated Jโ€™s birthday there, but they did not sing the birthday song as steakhouses usually do. However, they did serve cake for the birthday boy ๐Ÿ˜Œ

If youโ€™re a bread lover, then the name โ€œBread Yardโ€ should be a familiar one! Located in Buona Vista, they serve generous portions of food. The only downside is that you have to arrive early before all the bread gets bought up!

I ordered their Shakshuka, a spiced tomato stew served with beef kofta kebab, feta cheese, eggs, sumac onions, pesto, and brioche. The spice level is very manageable for me, and this dish is rich in flavor, pairing well with their brioche.

We also tried their brunch classic, the Full English - Farmerโ€™s sausage, bacon, eggs, beans, roasted tomatoes and mushrooms, brioche, honey thyme butter. Itโ€™s manageable for one person to finish.

Overall, the cafe can be a bit cramped due to its size, and there might not be available seats or food if you arrive too late after the morning rush.

This is for the date night or date lunch that you have been waiting for.

We celebrated our colleague's birthday and opted for the set lunch at $34++ per person, which includes these three items:

1. Starter - Burrata Di Puglia
2. Main - Steak Frites - Striploin 250g (with a $6 top-up)
3. Dessert of the day OR coffee//tea

In my personal opinion, the top-up for the steak frites might not be necessary, as it didn't stand out compared to other options like pasta or sea bass.

However, if you're a cheese lover, do not miss their Truffle & Honey Baked Half Camembert. It's a sharing portion that combines the richness of cheese with the exquisite truffle flavor and a hint of sweetness.

For those who appreciate bone marrow, this place serves one of the best I've ever tried. Their roasted bone marrow is generously portioned and practically melts in your mouth. It's a true delight!

Take it slow this weekend and treat yourself to a leisurely brunch at Slow Bakes.

This hidden gem, located near KTPH, offers a picturesque view of the reservoir, creating the perfect ambiance for heart-to-heart conversations with your friends or family.

Slow Bakes specializes in bread and beverages only, and we couldn't resist ordering a variety of bread to sample, with nothing priced above $5 each.

The Matcha Bread with almond butter spread allows you to choose the type of bread that pairs with the jam. The almond butter spread is authentically rich, while the bread carries a subtle hint of matcha, though it can be a bit dry.

The Chocolate Hazelnut bread not only smells divine but also features a dark chocolate hazelnut spread, making it surprisingly not too sweet. This was my personal favorite among all the bread options.

On the other hand, the Cheese Poto seems like a standard cheesy bun with a small amount of melted cheese and wouldn't make it to my recommendation list.

The Cinnamon roll, on the other hand, is delicious as it strikes the right balance between sweetness and a bread-like texture. I would highly recommend giving this one a try as well.

My colleague loves to say "Beef Bowl," and I've always wondered what that is. Finally, I got to try it!

I won't lie; the waiting time can be quite long, especially during lunch hours when it's all counter seating as you watch them cook your 'beef bowl'.

What I love about this place is that they offer three sets to choose from: beef, pork, and upgraded beef sukiyaki don. All at a steal price of $14.90++ per person, which includes 1 half-boiled egg, 1 chawanmushi, and 1 miso soup.

I chose medium for my beef, and it was incredibly tender. I practically wrapped my rice and the complimentary pickles inside the thinly sliced beef.

And if you love how Japanese enjoy their rice, then be sure to mix the half-boiled egg into your rice and give it a good mix.

If you are someone who likes to try something out of your usual comfort, then Blue Kouzina is for you! Blue Kouzina is your quick getaway to Greece as the vibe and overall atmosphere makes you feel like you're in Greece, specially their food which has a distinct Mediterranean flavours!

It was our first time heading over and playing it quite safe by ordering Beef Kalamaki which is beef skewer and Kotopoulo Yiro which is wrapped with fries.

For Beef Kalamaki, I loveee the tzatziki dip which is made out of Greek yogurt with cucumber, garlic and mint (I hate cucumber but can't taste it from this dip), while the meat is slightly on the tough side but no complain as it is flavourful especially together with the grilled onion. While I tried having the pita with just the dip, and with both the beef and the dip, either way tasted so so good.

For the kotopoulo which means Chicken and Yiro is wrap, for this it tastes quite like burrito but they used pita to wrap it instead. For this dish, it is mouthful, super duper huge and definitely I can't finish it all by myself. But I still perfer Beef Kalamaki as compared to this one.

While we also ordered the Greek Coffee which is cream + americano, not my style of coffee but it isn't too bad to drink it anyway.

I've heard about @ioosteriasg numerous times, and finally had the chance to visit with a friend who's a regular there! Be sure to bookmark this post and take note of our recommendations, as these dishes are mouth-watering.

My personal favorite has to be the Roasted Octopus with Mediterranean sauce. The octopus is perfectly cooked with just a hint of char at the tips, while the sauce enhances its flavor beautifully.

For starters, if you're a cheese enthusiast, their Burrata, Parma ham, Rucola, and Cherry Tomatoes is THE choice.

While their pasta dishes are decent, they wouldn't be my go-to. Instead, I'd opt for other main courses, such as the roasted octopus.

We completed our meal with their heavenly dark chocolate lava cake accompanied by espresso ice cream, which won my heart entirely. Alternatively, their sorbetto is equally refreshing and delightful.

Overall, @ioosteriasg is worth another visit, although the bill can be a little steep.

Looking for something casual and wallet-friendly in MBS? Here is the place to go!

Cedeleโ€™s slogan is โ€œEat Well, Be Wellโ€ and everytime I dine in, I feel that way ๐Ÿ˜Œ

We ordered the black pepper crab pasta, which is really yummy. Both of us canโ€™t take spicy food too well, so itโ€™s a little spicy for us. While the Steak Bolognese has thick slices of steak and a classic bolognese that will not go wrong.

Pop over to Neptune Cafe if you stay in the East for a weekend brunch or after your morning yoga.

Personally I have @classpasssg and managed to book Yoga movement which is right behind @theneptunesg

Neptune Cafe has an aesthetic of the 80's yet giving off a cozy vibe with healthy food selection (or sinful ones if you would like to order).

Their coffee (both flat white and iced mocha) are really good; no burnt coffee beans, no nonsense.

While for the mains, if you would like some healthy selection, personally I would recommend their Tune Quinoa Bowl ($19.50) where you could either mix everything all in one bowl, or enjoy it individually which I did.

My bf definitely chose the more sinful choice of Portobello Ragout with additional Bacons that elevates the whole taste and texture making the simple dish to be more American style.

Overall, Neptune Cafe goes for the minimal Japanese concept where you should head down if you enjoy a simple Japanese style breakfast or brunch.

@kow.sg is like a hidden gem as it has just opened for a month in Upper Thomson!

They mainly cater for Wagyu butcher but they also have a seating on the second level with plugs ๐Ÿ”Œ

A small and decent cafe with quiet vibes to have a good conversation with friends and definitely good food as well! ๐Ÿคค

Personally I really love their Moo Kow which is Truffle A5 Wagyu Sando! They toasted the Hokkaido Milk Bread while sandwich the Waygu Patty which is definitely juicy and mouthful, along with their homemade white truffle Mayo where you could smell the truffle once itโ€™s been served. ๐Ÿ’•

They do serve Kombucha from @hey.folksyco and I love its Wolfberry Sourplum Kombucha flavour where the Wolfberry soaked the taste of the kombucha and burst in your mouth!

It is even more shiok than your original pearls. The refreshing kombucha compliments really well with the Santo as it elevates the overall taste and makes you crave for another bite!
