If you're on a budget but craving some finger-licking good crabs, head over to this unassuming coffeeshop stall in Hougang. Apart from regular zi char fare, they also serve Sri Lankan crabs ($25 for three smaller crabs, $30 for two medium, $40 for two large), cooked in a variety of styles including salted egg yolk (additional $3), black pepper and chilli. The pricing system can get confusing but fret not β€” in our opinion, two medium crabs is just enough for two hungry tummies. Be sure to order the Mantou ($2 for six) to mop up the juices and gravy!

So glad to discover this hidden gem in Geylang which sells amazing skewers in a humble coffeeshop. Think of charred broccoli, cauliflower and okra, prawns, chicken liver, shishamo, lamb and seabass. My personal favourite will be the grilled eggplant topped with super addictive chilli! These plump oysters are grilled with light soy sauce and you can definitely tell how fresh they are from the "sea taste". A great place for supper since they are open 'till 1.30am (and 2.30am on Friday and Saturday) and the staff were really friendly! Comfort food at its best ☺️

Comfort yourself during the extreme weather change with awesome ingredients such as the Beancurd skin ($9) or the surprisingly sweet corn! Other favourites includes the tender pork collar, bouncy squid balls and the must order of ebiko prawn paste (!!).

People all around rave at this molten lava cake. Personally I think that the molten lava cake has a funny smell - I think it's the butter or oil they used to bake the cake. But the Mao Shan Wang gelato was really quite awesome- strong durian fragrance, not overly sweet, perfect texture. I'd go again for the ice cream, not the cake.

The staff asked me to take a sip and taste if it is bitter enough. If it is not, they can add more bitter chocolate for me. 😍😍 Thank you for the cheerful and genuine service!I will be back!

Here's the Mac and Bull ($17.50++): Mac and cheese, braised pork cheek and smoked bratwurst! Pretty flavorful with the meats, but the Mac and cheese on its own was pretty bland. And they had very little proteins unfortunately. πŸ˜ͺ. Stretchy cheese is always a plus though. .

Contrary to my perception of lemon desserts, this was not light. In fact, it's pretty rich and heavy but in a good way.
