I recently visited One Prawn Co for lunch, and it did not disappoint. We started off with the Prawn Toast and Aioli, absolute must-try. Next up was the Crab Croquette, which was packed with sweet, tender crab meat and had a crispy exterior.

For mains, I tried the Smoked Beef Brisket Ramen. The beef brisket was fantastically tender, and the broth was rich and full-bodied, a wonderful combination of smoky, savory, and umami flavors

Went to Market Bistro on a Monday for dinner, the fry baby squid with spicy aioli was a delight—crispy, not oily, with the aioli adding a perfect kick of spice. The tiger prawn bisque was incredibly fresh, full of rich seafood flavor. The ribeye was tender. I ended the meal with a decadent chocolate brownie, a sweet finish to a awesome dining experience.

I recently dined at Meadesmoore steakhouse and had a great experience. The meal began with a beer tartar that was fresh and flavorful, a unique start to the evening. For the main course, I enjoyed a perfectly cooked medium rare beef, juicy and tender, paired with broccolini that was crisp and well-seasoned. For dessert, the home made tiramisu was creamy and left me wanting for more.

The scrambled eggs and roast pork rice were amazing—so flavorful and perfectly cooked! The salt and pepper squid was equally delightful, with a burst of flavor in every bite. Definitely a place worth visiting for comfort food done right

Went to Le Cheng Kampong Hainanese chicken rice spot for dinner, and the chicken was incredibly tender—definitely a must-order! You can’t miss their white pepper claypot chicken soup either. Wow, the soup is thick and rich, packed with flavour and just the right amount of heat from the white pepper. The fragrant broth, filled with tender chicken pieces. It’s the kind of comfort food that feels like a big hug in a bowl!

I recently visited Hiryu to experience their lunch Omakase, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The meal began with a warm and comforting crab chawanmushi, setting the tone for what was to come.

Next up was the 8-course sushi selection, each piece meticulously prepared right in front of us. The freshness and quality of the ingredients were undeniable, making each bite a delight.

The highlight for me was the chopped toro hand roll, featuring luxurious bluefin tuna belly crowned with creamy uni—absolutely divine.

To round off the meal, we enjoyed a bowl of miso soup and a delicate clear jelly with soybean powder for dessert.

What an incredible dining experience! I can’t wait to return and relive it all over again.

I got the four-course lunch menu, and it was a culinary delight from start to finish.

For starters, I began with the scallops and cold angel hair pasta. The cold angel hair pasta, paired with caviar, was a my personal favourite

For the main course, I opted for the grilled lobster with the Béarnaise sauce. For dessert I got the was a bavarois of Earl Grey, a true delight for Earl Grey lovers.

The service throughout the meal was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyment of the experience. Each course was expertly crafted and delivered with care, making it a memorable dining experience.

The claypot hokkien mee is a dish that hits all the right notes. The prawns are super fresh, deshelled, and cleaned properly—perfect for those who don’t want to get their hands dirty. The dish has that wok hei goodness, giving that smoky, charred flavor, which goes perfectly with the sweet seafood. Confirm worth a try if you’re a fan of prawn noodles!

I also ordered the ngoh hiang taste platter, which comes with an assortment of delicious ingredients like prawn crackers, ngoh hiang rolls, fish cake, and fried bean curd. Each bite is packed with flavor, making it a must-try side to go with your noodles
