The Herbal Claypot Bak Kut Teh in 188 Cafe is rich and fragrant with a lingering herbal taste. Besides bak kut teh, you can also order Szechuan, seafood and other zichar dishes at 188 Cafe. https://hungryghost.sg/herbal-claypot-bak-kut-teh/

Our favorites were the #cerealprawn that was amazingly executed with a batter that was crispy all the way through and coating a prawn that wasn’t dry or overcooked, and the #saltedegglotus that was very unique and had rich salted egg flavour. We also enjoyed their sharks fin and broccoli with abalone. The steamed fish had nice flavour but some parts were quite tough & overcooked. The cold dish had beautiful presentation but average in terms of taste and we found the hei zhou to be a bit mushy in texture. Overall, would recommend this for Chinese tze char and hearty satisfying fares at a friendly price.
