After trying their mee hoon kueh, I went for their dry ban mian with YTF the next round. The ban mian was freshly hand-rolled upon order and tossed in black vinegar, dark sauce and their house-made chilli sauce. The other ingredients are pretty similar except there’s additional YTF here without the meatball and anchovies. Their ban mian came with a softer texture it wasn’t as chewy as their mee hoon kueh 》$2.50

Food is priced very affordably for just $2/$3 (Soup), $2.50 (Dry / YTF), $3 (Sliced Fish) and an additional $0.50 for an egg.

Handmade noodles dough freshly made daily and the choice of noodles prepared upon order. My mee hoon kueh was hand-torn while I wait for my order to be cooked. I ordered the dry version served with minced meatball, fish ball, anchovies and vegetables tossed in black vinegar, dark sauce and their house-made chilli sauce. The kueh had the right thickness, springy and firm to the bite. A comforting, cheap and simple dish 》$2.50

A long-time love of mine, this stall’s handmade noodles are still the freshest in taste and the most refined in texture in my opinion.
My go-to is the dry “mee hoon kway” (can’t believe a $2 serving is still available here) because I am, and will forever be smittened by the piquant blend of the aunty’s homemade chilli, black vinegar and dark sauce. It’s a must to drop in cut chilli padi too for that extra kick.
The soup version is just as good, albeit lighter in taste. Hence, why I caved and ordered both this morning for breakfast. #sorrynotsorry
You can choose to have their handmade noodles with “yong tau fu” or sliced fish instead of the standard minced pork and fishballs. Just make sure to reach the stall early to avoid disappointment.

From 133 面粉粿.
Handmade skinny noodles dry $3 size.
Hidden 3 fish balls, signature savoury sauce combined handmade noodles in harmony, clear soup from fish bones.
Shiok!

Kopi Siu Dai 90 cents.

Really wanted to try their mee hoon kway but IT WAS SOLD OUT AT 9+AM. 😭 Their you mian seems a little thinner than the usuals, but still had a nice bite to it. Very affordable at only $2.50 but the sauce they use here had a generous pour of vinegar which I wasn’t as big a fan of, as I prefer a better mix of savouriness. If you want an egg to go along, it’s a 50 cents top up!

There are several stalls in this market that boasts long queues and 133 is one of them! Their tad thinner handmade noodles are done fresh - aunty will pass the dough through the noodle maker upon order. Not the best handmade noodles we’ve had but we did like the freshness and how it had a decently nice bite. Can’t complain for $2 when you’re not very hungry - it felt quite homely with the fish ball, fried ikan billis and minced pork, but I’d go for other stalls here!
