We paid $52.90 for one whole chicken, a small spinach with three eggs, three plates of rice, the tofu + eggs and we were very full by the end. The chicken was tender (although we would have preferred more sauce) and the spinach dish was excellent. I’m normally not a fan of vegetables but I found myself going back for more. The tofu + eggs thing was normal.
It’s not the best but it’s really good and keeps me going back all the time, esp cause it’s kampong chicken and the stall is located in such a good location, just in the Bras Basah/Raffles Hotel area!!
$6.20. Verdict? Sin Swee Kee down the street is better and cheaper.💲👍😘
Have always seen this chicken rice when I am in the bras basah area. But have never tried it before. So I decided to today! Nothing to shout about, though quite decent. $16.80 for a 2 person set with a choice of kampung/roasted/mixed chicken plus thai/honey tofu plus vege.
