Founded in 1965 by Haji Yunos Ahmad, this heritage stall is beloved for their delicious and homely noodles.
.
Their rendition has chewy soft yellow egg noodles, crisp bean sprouts, bouncy hard boiled chicken egg, spongy tofu puffs, crisp green chili, and crisp fried shallots, combined for grainy sweet vegetal savoury eggy earthy spice flavour.
.
Added a begedil, the delicious spiced mashed potato patty being tender soft with starchy salty savoury spice flavour.
.
The star is the thick chunky gloopy gravy, robust with sweet savoury nutty herbal spice flavour. The not-so-secret ingredient is roasted peanuts, blended with mashed sweet potato, dried shrimp, and other spices.

Queue is always long but moves pretty fast. Sauce to noodles ratio is perfect 🤩
Priced at $3.50 (previously only $3), this bowl of Mee Rebus was packed with flavour and really comforting for the soul. I will definitely be back for their Mee Soto!
And its really good mee soto. I ordered Mee Soto Chicken Babat(Tripe).
The soup is flavourful with generous amount of chicken, and the tripe clean well and cook until very tender.
Dont forget to add the chilli (they have 2 type of chilli), to give a kick of sweet and spicy to the soup and make the soup more robust and flavourful.
💰$4.5
