What I can said is this dessert look very beautiful and nice ,but taste like water rather than jelly 😂I don't know how to describe the taste ...one words 'weird',I won't be back again for sure 👎🏻我吃过最难吃的甜品！

Finally got to try this Japanese “Water Cake” that I’ve been eyeing for a long time online. As expected, the mochi itself is pretty much tasteless, so scoop it up with sauce and ground peanuts in each mouthful for flavour and a little texture. Basically a super soft jelly, it melts away quickly in your mouth. A fun treat if you’ve never tried it before. Apart from the novelty, I would actually order this again and my personal preference is the original flavour that has a sweeter sauce.

Basically tasteless agar served with soybean flour and a sugary syrup kuromitsu.
It's quite good and goes on light on the stomach.

Found it by accident while having curry Katsu. I was expecting it to taste like regular agar, but it wasn't. Not gonna spoil the surprise for ya. You can find it at Yokosuka in JB City Square. It's a small booth with seats serving mainly Japanese mains like Curry Katsu.
Eatertainment Factor: 8/10 for the novelty, price point (RM 5.90) , and the aesthetics.
